-Kuai's POV- I hadn't realized I fell asleep on the sand. My head is on Bi-Han's chest, listening to his heartbeat. I keep my eyes closed, feeling him wake up and stroke my hair.
"My poor brother. You cried yourself to sleep. Must have missed me, hm? I missed you," He kisses my cheek again quickly. "So much."

He shifts his body on the sand, then sighs. "I've missed holding you like this. You're so warm. I hate to see you stressed. Hate to see you sad." He sounds to be on the verge of tears. "I know you said you left on your own free will, but you can't just ditch us. Ditch me like that." He croons. "If you had gotten hurt, I would never forgive myself."

While Bi-Han and Fujin have a long conversation, I watch Zodith play in the sand. She keeps getting sand up her nose and sneezing out those tiny purple sparks. This amuses me greatly.
She looks annoyed every time she sneezes. "Well, stop getting sand up your nose, then." I muse.

I watch her pounce on a seashell, playing with it like a cat would with a ball of yarn.
She grabs the shell with her mouth and runs over to me as I sit in the sand.
I smile gently at her, scratching the area behind her horns. She squeals happily, dropping the shell and rolling onto her back, legs in the air.

With a laugh, I scratch her exposed under scales, these ones noticeably more tender than the black ones. She lets out a high-pitched cry, almost sounding like laughter.
"Oh, you like me doing this, don't you?" I chuckle, taking my hand away and letting her get up.

"We should get going soon," I hear Fujin say to Bi-Han. "The last time I saw the Titans, they were all in the West mountains. They might still be there."
"So we'll need to be quick about this, before they can split up." Bi-Han sighs.

"Kuai," Fujin walks up to my sitting form. "We're leaving in a few minutes. Are you ready for this?"
"I am," I answer, getting up. "How long will it take to get to the mountains?"
"About a day of hiking if we do not stop." Fujin answers.
"Then we should get going." Bi-Han murmurs.

The forest around is isn't as foggy as the Dead Forest, but still hazy. Pine trees loom over us as we keep walking. Before we left, Bi-Han quietly dropped off Zodith back at the temple without being seen, so at least she's safe.

"How is Raiden?" Fijin asks, glancing at Bi-Han. "He's not well under pressure," my brother responds slowly. "Both him and Hanzo didn't take Kuai suddenly vanishing well. They thought it was useless that I continued to look alone." Bi-Han glances back at me with sadness in his eyes, but says nothing.

"Hold on," Fujin suddenly stops, hand on his sword handle. We both stop, seeing all remaining seven figures appear as dark shadows.
"They're around us." Bi-Han grunts, instinctively pulling me near him.

"Just focus on taking them down." Fujin states, his sword drawn.
I glance at the three closest to me, using dark energy to summon a sword made out of an unknown obsidian material.

"They are not attacking." Bi-Han notices.
"I've seen what these things can do. They act docile to let your guard down, then strike." Fujin explains, seeing one close to him suddenly charge.
He leaps out of the way by creating a gust of wind.

"Get down!" Bi-Han yells, gripping my shoulder and forcing me to the hard ground. I look up and see both Fujin and Bi-Han locked in heated duels with two of those shadow figures each.

The battle itself is itself is short lived. I ended up taking down the other three figures, and they burst into smoke. "Is that it?" Bi-Han asks, making his ice axe disappear.
"It appears so." Fujin states. "We should head back. I'd rather not see Raiden so upset with me, but we need to tell him what happened."
