~A few days later~

Aimi decided to walk up to the garden to check on Haru, running into Louis.

“Oh great, I ran into you,” Louis said.

“Wish I could say the same thing, but then I’d be lying,” Aimi said, sliding past him.

“You had to start hanging around him,” Louis said.

“What are you talking about?” Aimi asked, turning around to look at him.

“You know what I’m talking about. You and that gray wolf hanging around alone after practice,” Louis said, anger growing in his eyes.

“He’s my friend, Louis, and you need to mind your own business. You should be the last person judging someone when you’re still messing around with Haru,” Aimi said. Louis looked a little shocked.

“How did you...?” Louis began.

“I talked to Haru a few days ago,” Aimi said.

“Oh...shit...” Louis said.

“Oh shit is right,” Aimi said. “You really thought I wouldn’t find out? That I was that stupid?”

“No it wasn’t like that,” Louis said.

“Sure it wasn’t. It never is. Stop treating girls like dirty little secrets,” Aimi said, before turning and walking away from him, heading to the garden.

~Some time later~

Aimi helped Haru with some gardening chores, not saying anything to her to focus. After almost an hour, Haru finally broke the silence.

“Hey, Aimi?” Aimi looked over at Haru.

“Yes?” Aimi answered.

“Did something happen that made you quit the garden club?” Haru asked.

“Yeah, but I would rather not talk about it,” Aimi said, looking down at the roses she was tending to.

“Oh, okay. I’m sorry,” Haru apologized.

“It’s fine. I better get going. I have to head to rehearsal,” Aimi said.

“Oh, okay. See you tomorrow?” Haru asked in a hopeful tone.

“Yeah, see ya,” Aimi said, taking off her gardening gloves and apron. “Thanks for keeping my stuff here.”

“I was always hoping you’d come back to use them,” Haru said. Aimi nodded and hung her apron up, before grabbing her backpack and walking to the door. She waved to Haru and said goodbye, before leaving, heading down to the drama clubroom.

“Okay everyone, opening night is in three days. We have to work hard, I know we can do it!” Sanu, the president of the drama club announced.

“I may not be part of the actual play, but I’m getting pretty nervous,” Aimi said.

“Hey, lighting is still a good involvement,” Legoshi said.

“I know,” Aimi said, smiling at him.

“So we’ll be alternating nights?” Legoshi asked.

“That’s fine with me,” Aimi said. “You can have the first night.”

“Okay,” Legoshi said. His ears perked up hearing a low growling.

“Sorry, I didn’t get to eat breakfast this morning,” Aimi said.

“Did you sleep in again?” Legoshi asked.

“Yeah...” Aimi said, giving a sigh. “Sleeping indoors is still kind of new to me.”

“Oh...well I’m sure it will get better,” Legoshi reassured. Aimi nodded and held his hand, feeling comfort in doing so. “We can go get lunch after this, okay?”

“Okay,” Aimi said, before noticing Louis limping offstage slightly. “I’ll be right back.” She climbed down from the lighting balcony and walked over to where Louis was hiding. He was leaning against a wall backstage, looking down at his sprained ankle. It was a reddish-purple color and was swelling badly. “That doesn’t look good.” Louis looked up at Aimi and covered his ankle with his pants leg quickly.

“It’s nothing,” Louis said, standing up.

“You should really take a break, Louis. It’ll only get worse,” Aimi said.

“No, I will keep going. I will prove to you that I’m stronger than that, or any carnivore,” Louis said.

“Fine, whatever,” Aimi said, before Louis pulled her back toward her, making her look up at him. “What’s are you d-” Louis kissed her lips softly, pulling her close. Aimi froze, the hairs on her tail standing on end. She pulled away from him and backed away quickly. “Louis...”

“Aimi, meet me in my office. Tonight,” Louis said.

“I’ll think about it,” Aimi said, before Louis was called back to rehearsal. “You better go,” Aimi turned and walked back toward the lighting balcony. Louis stood up straight and walked back onstage slowly.

~A few hours later~

Aimi walked into the office quietly, closing the door behind her.

“What do you want, Louis?” Aimi asked. Louis walked over to her slowly, before pressing his hands against the door, pressing his body against hers. “Louis?”

“Aimi,” Louis whispered into her ear, before lightly kissing her neck.

“L...Louis, this doesn’t seem right,” Aimi whispered.

“I just need you...please,” Louis said softly. “It’s the only way we could move on.” Aimi began thinking to herself and bit her lip.

“Okay...I’ll do it,” Aimi said. Louis looked at her, slightly surprised.

“You will?” Louis asked. Aimi sighed and began pulling off Louis’s tie.

“If this means you’ll leave me alone. I’ll do it,” Aimi said, before kissing his lips softly. She pulled off his jacket and began unbuttoning his shirt. He reached up slowly and began unbuttoning the front of her dress.

“Aimi,” Louis said, before kissing her lips. Aimi kissed back and tried to relax.

‘Forgive me, Legoshi,’ she thought to herself, as she continued to undress the red deer standing in front of her. He pulled her body closer and kissed her neck, before picking her up. He sat her on the desk and looked down at her body.

“You’re even more beautiful than I remembered,” Louis said softly, before reaching for his pants. Aimi stopped him and began opening his pants. She tugged his pants down, before laying back on the desk.
