It was the last few days of summer and Aimi was in the garden, planting some seedlings that had sprouted. She was listening to some music, using a pair of earbuds, not wanting to disrupt anyone else. The sun was setting soon and she was just finishing up, when Legoshi came into the gardening area. Aimi stood up and turned around, before seeing Legoshi and dropping her watering can, splashing water all over her apron and shoes, getting her clothes soaked.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have just been standing here," Legoshi immediately apologized. Aimi stopped her music and pulled out her earbuds.

"It's okay, Legoshi," Aimi said, picking up the watering can. "You usually text me if something's up. Are you okay?"

"Oh, I'm fine, I just wanted to ask you something on our way to dinner," Legoshi said. "But it looks like you'll need to change first," he said awkwardly.

"Oh, okay," Aimi said. "You can just ask me while I'm getting changed."

"Okay," Legoshi said. Aimi nodded and headed into the garden shed, before closing the curtain, leaving the door open so that they could talk and hear each other clearly.

"So, what's up?" Aimi asked, taking out a white T-shirt and red shorts, before beginning to slip off her wet uniform and apron, and hanging them up to dry them.

"Well, the dorm and I were going to come out later tonight to watch the shooting stars, I was just wondering if you wanted to join us?" Legoshi asked.

"Oh, I'd love to, Legoshi, but I actually have plans tonight," Aimi said.

"Oh, sorry, it's just that we hardly see each other outside of having meals all summer. I just miss you that's all," Legoshi said shyly, scratching the back of his head a little.

"I know, I miss you too," Aimi said, changing her clothes. "I really do wish I could go. I love hanging out with you and your dormmates. Maybe we can spend some time together tomorrow, or at least some time before the semester starts up again."

"Yeah, and I'm free tomorrow. We could maybe go into town, we could make a day of it," Legoshi suggested.

"I like the sound of that," Aimi said, peeking out from behind the curtain, smiling up at him. Legoshi smiled back at her and grew a little flustered. Aimi walked out of the shed, putting her phone in her bra.

"Ready to go to dinner?" Legoshi asked, offering his hand.

"Yep," Aimi said happily, taking the gray wolf's hand. "Oh wait, I have to clean up the garden."

"It's okay. We'll do it together," Legoshi said.

"Okay," Aimi said, before the two began tidying up the garden, talking about their day a bit to keep things a little less awkward.

"Did you read the paper today?" Legoshi asked.

"Yeah…they still haven't found Louis yet," Aimi said quietly. "I'm kind of worried…I have trouble sleeping at night because I keep thinking…I'm scared he ended up like…" she added, before getting quiet. Neither of them mentioned Tem's death since their conversation at the love hotel.

"I know…it worries me too," Legoshi said quietly. "But Louis is a fighter, no carnivore would mess with him," he reassured. "He's definitely stronger than he looks."

"Oh yeah, he did drop kick you at the festival," Aimi said.

"Yeah," Legoshi said, giving an awkward chuckle. Aimi giggled a little and put the watering can on the shelf.

"Some do say that theater students are very good at fighting. I see why," Aimi said, dusting her hands off.

"Well, a lot of things go into theater, especially if you're backstage, there's a lot of lifting and mechanical work," Legoshi said, carrying some pots over to a space by the shed.
