Betty POV
I wake up to the smell of something burning.
"What the hell" I whisper to myself. I get out of bed and slide my slippers on. I walk out of my room and into the living room.
"Shit shit shit! Fuck me!" I hear some one whisper.
I walk into the kitchen and see Jughead pulling burnt toast out of the toaster.
"Jug what the hell are you doing?" I ask and walk into the kitchen.
"Oh my god! You can't just walk up on someone like that" he says and holds his chest.
"Why are you burning toast at 3 in the morning?" I ask him.
"I was anxious about school and couldn't fall asleep and then I got hungry so I was making some toast. And the I fell asleep on the counter waiting and it's burned." He says
"Wow but why toast" I chuckle
"I don't know" he says and then there's an awkward silence.
"Betty I'm sorry for cheating on you" he says
"Why apologize now. Why did you cheat on me in the first place. Was I not enough for you Jug?" I ask him.
"No betty absolutely not. It's...never mind" he says and looks down.
"No tell me what happened" I say
"Fine back in high school..."
High school
3rd person
Jughead walks in the house coming home from Betty's place.
"Hey Jughead come here" America said from the kitchen.
Jughead rolls his eyes and walks into the kitchen.
"Yes" he says. He sees Parker sitting at the counter and America next to him.
"Sit" she says
"Why"
"Just sit down Jughead" she says and he sits down.
"So I got an email and an producer wants you to star in a movie." She says
"No" Jughead says
"What do you mean" She says
"No im not doing it. You have Parker right there. I'm going to college with Betty, America."
"Well the character has black hair and we don't wanna damage his hair"
"Butt you'll damage mine. What the hell is wrong with you?" Jughead asked her.
"Jughead you're taking this offer" she says
"The hell I am! I already said I'm going to college with my girlfriend. I don't wanna be your pet! Like Dad or Parker!" Jughead yells
"Oh so you're going to college to study what?" She says and jughead leaves the table.
"Forsythe!" She yells but he just goes to his room.
Later that day
America walks into Jughead's room.
"What do you want I'm trying to get ready for bed" Jughead said combing through his wet hair.
"Jughead you're taking that damn offer" she says to him sternly.
"No im not" he says and then she slaps him across the face. And he looks at her shocked. This is the first time in 6 years she hit him.
