Jughead POV
I drive to Zach's house because I know she would've gone there. Once I get off the elevator I start jogging down to his apartment. When I get there I hear yelling. The door is unlocked so I walk in.
"Betty?" I call and I walk into the living room. I see Betty standing there crying and Zach with another guy sitting on the couch.
"What's going on here" the guy from the couch says
"Zach was my boyfriend and he's been cheating on me with you" Betty says.
"What you had a girlfriend already! What the hell!" He yells. Then stands up and leaves.
"Wait 'was' your boyfriend?" Zach says
"Well what do you think Zach! You think we're still together after you cheated on me with some guy." Betty says
"Betty let's just go home okay?" I say and rub her shoulder. She nods and we leave his apartment. Once we start walking to the elevator Betty stops and breaks down sobbing.
"It's okay Betty. Just let it out." I hug her and we just stand there hugging.
Later
I walk into the apartment first with Betty following.
"What the hell did you find her" Cheryl says
"Yeah" I say and Betty puts her keys on the table.
"I'm just gonna go to bed" Betty says and walks to her room.
"So what happened" Kevin asks
"I'm not gonna tell you everything cause it's not my place but they broke up because he cheated." I say
"With the Brian dude" Cheryl says and I shrug and go to my room and get ready for bed.
The next morning
I wake up and go into the living room and see Betty sitting on the couch in a sports bra and some sweatpants.
"Hey" I say
"Hey Jug" she says. Finally she calls me Jug again.
"Where is everyone?" I ask her and sit down on the couch.
"Uhh Kevin and Archie went out for a bunch date thing and Cheryl went to her new girlfriends house." Betty says
"Girlfriend?" I ask
"Oh fuck yeah. Uh Cheryl came out as bi 3 years ago." She says
"Oh okay well I'm gonna make some breakfast. You want some?" I ask
"No thanks I ate already." She smiles. I look and see 2 cardboard moving boxes by the front door.
"What are those boxes for" I ask her.
"It's all Zach's stuff he gave me or his stuff he just left here. His brother is coming by to pick it up" Betty says and takes out her phone.
"Okay" I sigh and go into the kitchen a make me some breakfast.
Later
"Wait so she's pregnant?" I ask Parker. We are on FaceTime. Me and him get along better now. We talk as much as we can.
"Yep we should be expecting a baby in July." Parker says
"Well congratulations" I say
"Well anyways dad was asking about you" he says
I sigh and sit on my bed "What'd he say" I ask
"He just said that since now you're not working with America you might come down for Christmas. So are you?" Parker asks
"Uhh I don't know" I say
"Why not you can finally meet my girlfriend and da-"
"No im busy I'll call you later okay bye" I say and hang up. I put my phone on my bed and take off my beanie. I run my hands through my hair and sigh.
It's not that I don't want to see my dad for the holidays. It's that I'm scared of what he might do to me. I just left out of nowhere. I ignored his calls and text. America even made me block him on my phone. I scared that he might hate me for it. I'm just scared of how he's gonna react.
"Hey Jug I was wondering if you wanted to go for a walk around the park." Betty asks walking into my room.
"Uhh yeah sure I need a distraction" I say.
Betty POV
Now me and Jug are walking around the park. Either Jughead has gotten taller or I gotten shorter. But I've grown 2 inches in 3 years.
"So are you going home for the holidays" I ask him.
"Uhh no I was just thinking of staying here." He says
"Same" I say and look down.
"Why I thought you would of wanted to see your mom" he says
"My mom got a new boyfriend last year" I say
"You don't like him" he says
"Well he's okay. Just not his daughter" I say
"Who's is daughter?" He asks
"Veronica" I say
"Wait Veronica Lodge. I thought you guys were best friends?" He says
"Well once you broke up with me. The whole school turned against me. Except Kevin, Archie and Cheryl. Veronica hates me now and thinks I cheated on you" I say
"Oh damn I'm sorry so Betty." He says
sadly.
"It's fine Jug"
"No it's not fine I fucked up your life with my shit. It's messsed up and it's my fault. My problems costed you, yo-"he rambles. I stand on my tippy toes and place my hand on his cheek.
"Jug don't be so hard on your self you were what 17 and your mother was controlling and it's scary to make those decisions. But it's okay Jug I forgive you." I smile at him. Then we just stand there looking into each others eyes.
Jughead wraps his arms around my waist and I wrap my arm around his neck. Then we lean in, but he rests his head on my forehead.
"We should get going" he says quietly.
"Yeah" I say and we start walking again.
