Chapter 15- I wasn't always small

Jughead POV

I wake up to someone knocking on my bedroom door constantly. I walk and open the door and see Betty.

"Baby? What are you doing here?" I ask her and she kisses my cheek.

"It's 1:30 I was waiting for you but you never showed so I came over and talked with my best friend for a while." She says and sits on my bed.

"Wait best friend? I thought I was your best friend" I say

"You are but your dad is too. So is Kevin and Archie. But you and your dad are top two" she smiles.

"Well anyways I have to eat breakfast and then we can just hang out" I say

"Okay cool I'm gonna go down stairs" Betty smiles. She kisses my cheek and walks out of my bedroom. I put some sweats on and walk downstairs to the kitchen.

"Hey Jug you finally up" My dad chuckles and I open the fridge.

"Yeah I guess I was jet lagged." I say and pull out an orange.

"I think there's some watermelon in the fridge drawer" My dad says. I open the drawer and take out the bowl of watermelon. I get a fork and go sit on the couch next to Betty.

"Well my mom wants you guys to come over for dinner tonight" Betty says and takes a piece of fruit out of my bowl.

"Betts!" I say and look at her.

"It's just watermelon Jug" she says and looks at me.

"Yeah my favorite fruit ever" I say and put my bowl farther away from her. She laughs and we all start talking.

Later
We went to Alice's house and ate dinner. Right now we are in the living room watching a movie. But we paused it because Chic and Betty started arguing. In the movie the little boy called his sister a short girl with a big annoying mouth. Chic said the he could relate.

"I wasn't always small and annoying" Betty says

"Yea you were mom even has videos." Chic says

"Ooh videos of young Betty" I say and she glares at me.

"Okay I'm sorry. But baby you would be adorable" I whisper so only she can hear and she smiles at me.

"I do have some home videos of the kids when they were younger." Alice says

Later

"Betty is tiny but has a big mouth" Younger chic says.

"I do not have a big mouth and I'm not tiny" Little Betty says

"Yeah you do" Polly says

"Yeah you have an even bigger mouth polly" Chic snaps

"Shut up chic" Polly snaps back.

"Guys stop fighting" Charles says

"Stay our of this" Polly yells at him.

"Okay kids stop! Polly don't hit him" Alice says and then I hear Betty scream and the camera shuts off.

"Okay that's the last one for today" Betty says and takes the tape out.

"So point proven you were and still are small with a big mouth." Chic says

"I bet Jughead's profits off of that" Charles says jokingly.

"Charles Dean Cooper! Don't say that!" Alice says

"I bet he does though" My dad says and I throw a pillow at him.

"I'm gonna go upstairs before anything else happens." Betty says and grabs my hand.

Betty POV

Once we get upstairs I lay down and Jug lays next to me and puts his head on my chest.

"So how was yesterday" he asks

"It was Fine. I slept most of the day but woke up when Chic came because he tackled me in the bed." I say and Jug chuckles.

"And my mom also asked me when she was getting grand kids from me" I say.

"Well I'll happily help you babe" Jughead says and I laugh.

"No Jug maybe we should tell our parents about us first. Maybe today. We've been dating since December and it's April. So 5 months." I say

"Okay I'm down as long as you don't leave me anytime soon" He says.

"Jug you know I won't." I say and he sits up.

"Can I get a kiss?" He asks and puckers his lips.

"No" I smile.

"No baby seriously" he says and leans down. I turn my head so he kisses my cheek.

I laugh "Giggles come on" he whines. I blow him a kiss and roll over.

"No stop!" He groans and tickles my sides hovering over me.

"Okay! Okay I'm sorry" I laugh out loud.

"So you're gonna give me a kiss" Jughead asks

"Yes" I say and he smiles. He leans down and kisses me. He pulls away and kisses me again.

"Hey Bett-. What the hell!" Polly yells and we pull away and sit up.

"Polly" I say and she glares at me and runs downstairs.

"Oh my god" I say and run downstairs.

"Mom! Did you know Betty and Jughead are dating again?" She asks

"What N-" my starts

"And to think I was gonna apologize Betty. Why don't you tell me anything. I'm your sister for god's sakes" she says. I feel tears brimming my eyes.

"Oh you're gonna cry. Betty that doesn't work on me. It my work on mom and that boy toy of yours but it definitely doesn't work on me. You kno-"

"Hey that's enough" Charles says. Chic and Charles walk her out of the room.

"Hey Betty you ok" Jughead asks and puts his hand on my shoulder. I flinch away and run upstairs.
