Chapter 13- I'll go if you go

Betty POV

Spring break starts Monday and everyone is going home for it. I want to go home but I really don't feel like facing Veronica. Jughead blames himself everyday for it.

My brothers are going home. Charles is bringing his new baby. That I haven't even met yet. My mom called and asked if I'm coming. I told her I don't know yet.

"You guys should come home. Everyone is coming home" Kevin says.

"I'm not sure my dad maybe got not want me there" Jughead says

"And I don't feel like having Veronica and my sister mad at me for 2 weeks straight" I say.

"Party poopers" Cheryl says

"Well I'm gonna head to bed" I say and stand up.

"Yeah I am also" Jughead says

"Yeah go ahead we all know that you're fucking" Archie says. And Jughead looks at him.

"What it was just a joke" Archie says and I walk into my room. I change into some shorts and a tank top. I let my hair down and I sit on my bed, thinking.

"Hey" Jughead says walking into my trim.

"Hey" I smile at him.

"Dimples, I want you to go home and see your mom and brothers" he says

"I know I want to but I can't handle that extra stress" I say and look at him feeling my eyes tear up.

"My sister hates me so does Veronica. And I just can't" I say

"Well how about...I'll go if you go" he says.

I look up at him "What?" I ask

"Ill go home if you go with me. I will talk to my dad and apologize." he says.

"Really" I ask

"Yes anything for you babe. And if one of our parents get mad or we can't stay. I'll get us an hotel" he says. I hug him really tightly and he wraps his arms around my waist.

"So we're doing this going home" I ask him.

"Yeah. So let's get some plane tickets." He says and opens my laptop.

The next day

"Bye guys" I say to Kevin, Archie, and Cheryl.

"So when are you guys coming" Cheryl asks

"Tomorrow, Our plane leaves at 6am and we should get there by 8 am in Riverdale time" Jughead says

"Oh shit I forgot there was a time difference" Kevin groans.

"Kev we gotta get going. Bye see y'all tomorrow" Archie says and they leave. I go and lock the front door. Once I turn around Jughead picks me up and kisses me. He walks to the couch and sits down.

"I've been waiting to do that for so long." He says once we pull away.

"Me too" I say back and cuddle into him.

"Did you finish packing?" I ask Jug and he doesn't respond.

"Jug! We are leaving at 5 in the morning" I say and look up at him.

"I know but packing is sooo boring" he whines.

I stand up "Let's go Jug" I grab his arm and we walk into his bedroom.

Jughead POV
The next day

"Baby let's go before we're late" I say and Betty groans on the couch.

"I'll get us Dunkin if you wake up and we leave now" I say and she opens her eyes and smiles at me.

"Fine help me up" she says and I grab her hands. The we walkout the door and lock it.

"To Riverdale" I say and Betty laughs.

At the airport

"Jug I'm tired" Betty whines and wraps her arms around my waist and places her head on my chest.

"We are about to board the plane and you can sleep then"I say. Betty stand up straight again and fixes her sunglasses.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see paparazzi. I roll my eyes and pull my hood up.

"What's wrong" Betty asks and grabs my hand.

"Paparazzi" I say back.

"What where?" She asks

"It doesn't matter don't pay attention to them" I say and then they call our plane number.

"Let's go" I say and she smiles. We stand up and walk to the doors.

6 hours

I pull up to Betty's moms house.

"You ready?" I ask her.

"Charles said that Polly isn't coming until tomorrow. So it's only Veronica I have to deal with" she says.

"Well good luck" I say and kiss her, "Call me and tell me how it goes?"

"Yeah" she says and we get out. I help her bring her bags to the door. Then I get into my car and drive to my house.

Once I get there I park the car and take a couple of minutes to think about what I'm gonna say. Then I walk up to the door and knock on it.

The door opens and I see Parker. "Jughead? Hey" he smiles and we hug. I walk inside. And we go I to the living room.

"Where's dad" I ask him.

"He went to get Pops. Wait I thought you weren't coming" he says

"Well I wasn't but I made a deal with Betty. I told I'll make up with my family if you make up with yours." I say

"Oh Betty. You and her together again" Parker asks

"Well you can't tell anyone but yeah we are" I say and the front door opens.

"Parker! Where are you" Dad calls.

"I'm the living room" he says

"Do you know who's car is in the driveway" Dad asks and then walks into the living room. Once he sees me he freezes.

"Hey dad" I say nervously

"Hey" he says

"I'm gonna go check on Avery" Parker says and walks away.

Dad comes and sits next to me on the couch.

"So what happened? Why'd you leave?" Dad asks me.

"I'm sorry dad, I- America.... One day when I came home from Betty's house America said that there was a movie coming out and that they wanted me or Parker to star in it. I told her I didn't want too and walked onto my room." I say and take a breath.

"So then later that day she came into my room and yelled at me. She said I have to take the offer because I don't know what I'm gonna do with my life. I refused again and then..." I take another deep breath so I don't cry.

"Hey take your time" My dad says and places his hand on my back.

"She hit me" I cry.

"And she told that if I didn't take the offer she would tell the world that you cheated on her and you have multiple children. She would of also said that Betty was a gold digger. And so I took the offer. She told me I couldn't talk to you or Betty anymore and I had to break up with her." I say and wipe my eyes.

"It's okay Jug I forgive you" My dad says and pulls me into a hug.
