"D-Daddy! Daddy, I need coffee! Please!" We had driven for hours before Adrian had finally woken up enough to request his favorite beverage, and it had only been the simple matter of finding an exit that wouldn't take too much time for us to glide to, our truck rolling to the stop in the parking lot of some small local cafe that had a Hot Coffee sign lit up in the window... But so far the only thing my sweet Baby has been served is a dose of my hot lips all over his still sleepy face as he giggles and tries his best to squirm his way out of my hold so both of us can finally climb out of the truck and deliver unto his grumble belly the stack of french toast that it's calling out so loudly for while I kiss him within an inch of his life, "Come on, I also really really have to pee!"
The last squeal is what finally manages to get me to let him go, my door being the one he pushes open because it's easier for him to climb off of my lap that way, my body following him and pausing only long enough to make sure that I have the keys, my phone, and my wallet before locking the car and following my gorgeous little mate inside as he hops from foot to foot trying to make it to the bathroom with his full bladder in the most adorable fashion.
I follow him in, but my little Bean doesn't take too long in front of the urinal, the wiggle he does to shake himself possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen as he shoots a smile over his shoulder before heading straight to the sink and washing his hands. Before I know he's back in my arms and smiling at me like the little Angel he is, his lashes being batted ever so sweetly as he says, "Buy me a coffee, Daddy."

Silas chuckles into my hair when he presses a kiss to the top of my head, his arm staying around my waist as he opens the door and quietly whispers, "Mama's first." as I walk through it, the flush that rushes into my cheeks nearly blinding me with how happy my sweet Daddy makes me, his grip on my hip tightening when he catches up to me and guides us to one of the two top tables that would make this cozy little diner feel almost like home... Even though I know Silas would rather not have to talk to the cute little waiter that comes over to take our order.
Daddy keeps it polite though and smiles at me when I look up at him, his hand finding mine as we hand the menus we had barely looked at over after ensuring that the waiter could indeed also bring me a cup of coffee to go whenever he brings the bill over, the waiter himself spying our intimate handhold and smiling like a mad man giving me a saucy wink after jotting down what we've asked for before walking away.
"If he winks at you again I'm pulling both his eyes out." I can't help but snort as Silas watches the very obvious bottom walk away from us and up to the window to leave our ticket with the short-order cook even though I know he is absolutely serious... I just love the way his possessiveness of me is never hidden, but always downright spiteful, even over something like a knowing wink of someone who obviously knows how good it feels to have someone to curl up next to at the end of the night that would do anything for them... Just like I do.

"I love you too, Daddy. Do you think Becky and Collin have gotten on their flight yet? Should we try and call them or do you think Becky is trying to get Noah to go down for a nap before they board?" My sweet boy had agreed to drive the eighteen hours to Orlando with me instead of taking the extra ticket Becky and Collin had offered because he couldn't stand the thought of either being separated from me or forcing me to get on one of those death traps with wings where I would have been sealed in with who knows how many dumbasses that would undoubtedly end with me most likely having to shave part of my head for almost killing whatever dumbass fucked up worst.
"Beck is probably trying to keep Noah down if they haven't already boarded. They'll text us at some point to let us know that they've landed." And knowing the two of them they would likely take the liberty of checking us into the hotel to spare whatever poor soul would be at the front desk when we stroll in sometime after midnight because lord knows I'll be frustrated from whatever traffic we run into... A grumpiness I'm going to need to work out of my system even if it's just chasing the beautiful future mother of my children around our room before we settle down to get some rest in so I can meet his new friends with a smile instead of a frown, "Did you tell your Beans that we left?"
"Yeah! Aurie said that they all got there this morning. Lukas put them on a late flight yesterday." At the mere suggestion of his new friends my sweet Addy-Baby slips his phone out of his pocket so he can check it for any new text messages... And positively beams when he finds not one... But what looks like damn near twenty, the quiet giggles he spills making their way into the air and clearing it of all the negative emotions I have about this trip and sitting in this diner where I have to talk to other people.
"You still excited to get there? We might have to people." As the words leave my mouth a realization hits us both, Adrian's eyes jumping up to meet mine as we both recall the promise that he had made not too long ago.
"Daddy... I didn't get to-... I think you need to follow me to the bathroom please, Silas!"
