Within the darkness of the night, inside the Nakamura village two middle aged men sat across from one another with harsh stares. The only thing separating the two, was an old wooden table that held a single candle in it's center. This was the only light source within the dark wooden household, which only dimly illuminated their faces.

"Well, Satoshi...it's always a pleasure to meet with you." The man with shaggy black hair started, the sarcasm dripping off his tongue as he spoke. "But I can't keep staring at you in the dark all night. So please tell me your plan worked." Satoshi ran his hair through his white locks that grazed the tip of his ears with impatience. However he remained silent, keeping his focus on the flame of the candle. "Well?"

"...She hasn't become a demon." Satoshi sighed making the male across from him kick the table in anger.

"You're the one that sent that demon after her to mess with her head. Perhaps you hadn't thought of how strong she actually is."

Satoshi scoffs. "I'm her uncle, I raised her. I think I would know what exactly she is capable of."

"Then if the death of her best friend hasn't broken her, what will?" The man asks sarcastically, crossing his arms over his chest.

"She's found herself a new home." Satoshi states getting up from his seat and turning away from the man. "...So then let's remind her of where her actual home is." He says with a smirk making the black haired man furrow his brows.

"She would never come here willingly." He starts staring at Satoshi with careful eyes.

"Correct...so let's send a piece of home to her." Satoshi grins turning towards the black haired man with glowing red eyes. "Get the boy."

"Then what was the point of sending that demon?" He asks irritated with the thought of wasted time.

"If ripping away all she had can be replaced with a new home...we'll give her hope again. Then...shatter it completely."

.

"So you brought me out here for...?" Ryder asks looking at the two pairs of partners in front of her with a dry look.

"You're gonna be going to classes soon. Might as well see some training lessons, right?" Maka shrugs with a grin. "That way you'll know how they work."

"I don't see any instructors." Ryder states looking around.

"That's because there aren't any." Soul says adjusting his headband.

"Who needs them anyway? I'm already a rockstar without the help of some stupid professor." Blackstar laughs as Tsubaki next to him shook her head with an amused smile on her face.

"So what, you're just sparring?" Ryder asked with a raised brow.

"I guess if you wanna see it like that." Soul shrugged. "You'll get to see what we weapons are made of." He says with a smirk making Ryder return the expression.

"Who cares about that? I'm the star of the show." Blackstar pipes in with his hands behind his head. The Nakamura turned to him with a raised brow, all of them were in the same attire as usual except Blackstar. He had a white tank top and baggy black pants. He seemed somewhat agitated since the party. The red head would have thought he would be in higher spirits now that his shoulder was no longer covered in bandages.

"I suppose that makes me the audience." Ryder states taking a seat on the grass before gesturing for the DWMA students to begin their training with tired eyes.

"Just sit back and be amazed by the awesome Blackstar!" He shouted as Tsubaki turned into her weapon form.

Letting out a sigh Ryder scratches the back of her head, she couldn't really say she was interested in the fight. She's seen what some of the student at the DWMA are capable of. That was enough for her.
