"Peter has been so-so different" I sigh and look at May "He won't play with the twins, he's training harder, I don't think he's actually rested in days, and he blames himself about you! Why didn't you just listen to me and not put on the suit? Why won't anyone listen to me and put down the suits? I guess it's cause I don't know what goes behind it huh? I guess you learned first hand...you saved lots of people and fought so many bad guys though...you're a hero! Just please live as a retired one time hero and not die one...Peter can't handle that"
"No he cant" I jump at buckys voice and watch him wheel in "Hey kid"
"Metal arm" He smirks as he stops beside me "How you feeling?"
"I'll be in this chair for another day" He looks at May "She wants to save The Parker and Starks...She would've took me if I wasn't thinking on the fly"
"Then who would I have to help bring Peter back? Or to make fun of their fake arm?" He chuckles and I smile "I just want him to be him again"
"War can do that to someone and so can loss" I nod at Buckys words "Look at what happened with Wanda...she lost so much and she finally snapped"
"I don't want Peter to hit that point" I look at May and feel my tears start "I want him t-to...I WANT HIM TO LEAVE!"
"But he won't" I look at Bucky "It's not in him to and he knows New York needs him"
"Did you know about May?" Bucky shakes his head no "Does Peter know you didn't?"
"He made Sam write everyone's names who knew" Bucky pulls out a paper "It was easier to write who didn't"
I look at the short lost of names on the paper:
Bucky Barnes
X-Men
Wanda
Miles
Gwen
Noir
Pepper
"I gotta go to a meeting" Bucky puts my shoulder "Hang in there kiddo"
"I'll try" I hear him leave and look at the paper "Something needs to go in our favor...just one thing"
-Pepper pov-
"Come on Peter talk to us!" I look at Peter who's ignoring Sam "Peter we are sorry we didn't tell you or the others! But we can't fix that now! We can only look to beat the people who put May down!"
"Then how about I put you down!" Peter jumps out of the chair and looks at Sam with unbridled Anger "You could've gotten her out of that damn suit! You could've saved her! But you didn't! You let a innocent woman play hero! She had no training! She has no powers! She was in a damn suit! You call yourselves heroes?! No! You are sorry excuses of people! Meeting adjourned!"
Peter walks out of the room "We need to talk our next move" Sam grabs his arm "Sit back down"
"Hands off!" Peter punches Sam knocking him to the ground "I don't need the avengers! I want the X-men and everyone on the paper that didn't betray me!"
"ENOUGH!" I walk up to Peter "Sit back down in your chair now!"
Peter looks at me before walking back to his seat. I help up Sam and everyone slowly sits back down. I stand at the head of the table.
"We need to work this out" Xavier looks around the room "As of now everyone will be training with someone from a different team"
"Before anyone says anything negative we have talked consequences" I look at everyone to make sure they are listening "If you do not train and work with them you will be forced to clean every ones gear, weapons, AND vehicles everyday till this is done! Am I understood?!"
"Yes"
I nod and send everyone their partners. There are some cheers and groans but I don't pay attention much to those. Im focused on Peters expression.
"We had a outlier" Peter looks at me "You have to work with Pete"
"I'll take this because you and the professor told me to" Peter stands you and everyone watches "Now I'm excusing myself"
We all watch Peter walk out and I sigh. What happened to the sweet little boy I knew? Oh yeah...the last snap. How could I forget.
-Peter pov-
I'm on a walk when I head running beside me. I turn and see Pete slow to a walk. I point to the benches and he nods. We walk in silence over to them.
"I'm sorry about everything" Pete sits down beside me "I didn't want this to happen and I didn't think she'd get hurt...I tried to protect her the whole time..we all did..but she forced her way away and...I got there but I was too slow"
"I just wanna know why you hid it? Why not tell me?!" Pete sighs and hands me a note "What's this?"
"Your answer" He sticks it in my hand "I'll be here for you while you read our orders"
I open the not and immediately recognize Mays writing-
'Hey Peter,
I love you my sweet boy! But you're way over your head in this one! I can't leave her without joining up and I have the babysitter protocol thing enabled on it. Everyone has been sworn to secrecy because I don't need this over your head. I want you to focus on stopping Wanda and those bad guys! But I want to see my son in action. You are my son no matter what really papers say. I love you so much!
Please if you're reading this don't blame anyone! I made this decision and swore them all to secrecy. I just want to help and not be a sideline cheerleader. I'm just hoping Pepper doesn't get involved too. We are planning on having a baby! You'll have a brother or sister!
Just please stay safe and calm. I'll be back baby boy. I promised you I'd always be with you and that's not stopping now. No matter what happens I'll always be there for you. Be it on earth or watching out for you with Natasha, Tony, and Ben!

"Thank you" I wipe my tears and look at Pete "We got a lot of work to do to take these guys down"
"Well then" Pete stands up and extends his hand "Lets work together to beat these bad guys"
I smile and take his hand. This is a first step for me accepting them back. Next step is taking down Wanda and Magneto.
