-Peter pov-
I'm standing in front of Professor Xaviers office door. I have so much depending on the answer I give to any of his questions. But I think I've got my answers.
"We'll have to see" the door opens and Xaviers sitting behind his desk "I can read your mind remember that Peter"
"Sorry" I walk in and close the door. I take a seat in front of his desk "You wanted to see me?"
"Yes and you know why" I nod and he smiles "I know you're going to say no Peter"
"I assume you know why too" he shakes his head no "The avengers have lost so much are the only family that's been there for May and I since I joined....we are there for each other always! We are a family like yours and I can't turn my back on that family"
"It's not turning your back kid" I turn and see Sam standing beside the door "Didn't think I'd miss out on this meeting did ya?"
"More or so hoping" He takes a seat beside me "Do you think I should join them?"
"Honestly yes" He sighs and looks at me "But at the same time I don't wanna lose you either kid"
"Which is why Sam and I have come to an agreement that I'd like our next guest to listen to" The door opens and soon Michelle is beside me "Good Afternoon Miss Jones"
"Hi" Michelle looks at all of us "What am I doing here?"
"Xavier and I would like to put Peter in a dual membership between X-Men and Avengers...as a freelancer" my eyes go wide at what Sam just said "He'd still be neighborhood Spider-Man but when either team needs him to teach, fight, or help in any way he'd come to help us if he can or is willing"
"We don't wanna force Peter away from any of you" We look back at Xavier "I've grown quite fond of him and how your brain works Miss Jones! I am almost interested in offering you a job here at the institute"
"Hey she's off of the deal" Sam raises his eyebrow and puts his arm in front of us "This girl works with us"
"When did I start working with you guys?" Michelle shakes her head and looks at Sam "What have I been doing?"
"Those 'puzzles' Wanda sends you" Michelle nods and I facepalm "Those are mission coordinates or sometimes clues and stuff like that we need solved"
"You do know I've gone to Ned with some of those right?" Sams eyes go wide "Now you do"
"Ok well now you know" Sam sighs "Now we also need to change some security measures"
"She could do freelance if she'd like as well" I look at Xavier again "But as of right now I'd like to hear from you peter! Are you up for freelance?"
"It's a deal that works out in everyone's favor including my families" I smile as wide as I can "I can't see how I could turn this down!"
"Great" Xavier slides over a watch with a X on it "That's how we will get in contact with you when we need you"
"And this" Sam hands me a S.H.I.E.L.D. ID card with my info on it "Is how we will get hold of you from now on"
"Thank you guys!" I look at Michelle and frown "But I forgot to ask the most important person what I should do"
"Peter you said it yourself" Michelle smiles brightly "This is a win for everyone! I couldn't even think of a reason for you to say no"
"Then I'm for sure in!" I get up and pull Michelle into a hug "I love you so much"
"I love you so much" We do a quick kiss before she screams and I get in a attack stance beside Sam "The closet door just moved!"
"It shouldn't have" Xavier looks at it and it opens revealing Nightcrawler, Kitty, and Jubilee "What are you three doing in here? It's class time!"
"Well we saw Peter come in and wanted to know his answer" Kitty looks at Nightcrawler "So we used Nighty here to teleport in"
"I'll deal with you three later" Xavier looks at me "I believe the Avengers are ready to leave"
"He'd be right" Bruce opens the door and peaks in "I'm not gonna try fighting through this small door way"
"Let's get our crew to the sanctum" I look at Sam confused "Strange has finally renovated with Wong enough to let us all move in"
"You know Dr. Strange?" Professor Xavier wheels to beside us excited "I've wanted to meet this man for a while now! Would I be able to go with you all?"
"I don't see why not" Sam grabs onto the handles of Xaviers chair "I'll give your arms a break for a bit. See you later Parker"
"Bye" I grab Michelle's hand and take a deep breath "Now to tell the news to Pepper and May!"
-Time skip-
"WHAT?!" I cringe at Mays yelling "Like hell you are freelancing to these teams!"
"I already said yes and Michelle backs me up" May glares at Michelle who looks away "Hey! Leave her alone! She's just being supportive of a good deal"
"A good deal that could get you killed Peter" I look at Pepper shocked. Why is she on Mays side on this? Also why is she also glaring at Michelle "You have a life to worry about!"
"Whoa! whoa! whoa!" I look at Pepper then May "I'm not even gonna argue this freelance thing anymore! What the hell is the glaring at Michelle for?!"
"Don't you raise and curse at me young man" May points at Michelle "Pepper and I talked and....and we think that may~"
"Maybe I slept with him because I knew he worked with Tony and he possibly could be loaded right?" I look at Michelle then at the two women that are like mothers to me shocked "Great to know I'm still secretly...not so secretly at phase one with both of you"
"Enough of this" I stand up and reach out for Michelle's hand "We are going to the kids then moving into the sanctum"
"Peter come on be reasonable here" I ignore May and start walking with Michelle to the door "If you walk out of here then....then that's it! You've chosen your option!"
"I think my option was chosen already by you two" I open the door and stop not looking at them "Goodbye Maybelle Parker and Pepper Potts...id say I love you but I don't know if you two ever really did love me"
And with that we were gone.
