-Hawkeye pov-
I have fought this scorpion dude back to the vault. He almost stings me but I dodge and land a knockout blow. He falls and I run back out to Spider-Man. I pick up speed when Hobgoblin puts a pumpkin by Spiders head.
"HELL NO!" I shoot a arrow that shocks Hob "You won't kill that spider"
"I'll kill you too!" I dodge pumpkin blades that get thrown "Get back and die!"
I continue fighting Hobgoblin and I see movement in a window. I quickly move as scorpion stings Hobgoblin. I shoot a net at the both of them and start working on the hostages. I get all of the pumpkins out of their mouths and move to Spider-Man.
"Come on get up" I shake him but he doesn't move "Police are coming, I'll get you out of here"
I pick up Spider-Man as the police come in. They stare me down and nod as I walk out with Spider-Man. When I step out I see a EMT's waiting, the hostages waiting, and police waiting. I stop moving and just stand there holding Spider-Man.
"Is he going to be ok?" I look at one of the police officers "Spider-Man...is he gonna be ok? We can take him to the hospital if need be! We have one ready always"
"Ready for Spider-Man?" The officer nods and I'm shocked "You guys would help him?"
"Of course!" The officers all laugh "He just says he's fine and goes on though"
"Thank you all" I free a hand and shake all of their hands "Thank you all so much"
"It's nothing compared to him" The closest EMT walks up to me "He saves my daughter from a fire a year ago....if it wasn't for him I'd never have been able to see her again"
"Thank you" I step back "I'm a head avenger and I wanna tell all of you thank you for helping out my friend here and looking out for him! We tr our Best Buy sometimes we are too slow...thank you all again"
"No problem" The Officer from earlier comes up and smiles "Just get our champ in fighting shape for the next time"
"Will do" I push a button and soon my bike pulls up "Will do"
-Time skip- Peter pov-
I open my eyes to a blinding white light. I blink a few times and fully open my eyes. It's the dang med bay. I sit up and see Clint in a chair beside me.
"They love you" I look at him confused "New Yorkers a ambulance ready for you every time! No one else here has that! We get judged and hated but you! You get loved by all of them!"
"I get loved because I treat them like people" Now Clint is looking at me confused "You guys a lot of the time look at the civilians as just that...but when you remember that they are just like us...scared sometimes and defenseless other times...you realize that they look to us for help! So that's why I want to stay for them and signed the free lance. To stay with my family and to stay with my New York family"
"We could all learn something from ya kid" I chuckle and he stands up "Next time though make their day and ride with them"
"I have a better idea" I sit up more and Clint motions me on "I need all of the avengers suited up though"
-Time skip again-
"Why are we outside of a hospital?" Sam turns on his visor "This is crazy"
"To spread cheer" I put my mask on and walk in and up to the front desk "Are the kids in the play room?"
"Y-y-yes!" The lady at the desk stands up "Are you all really them?"
"Yes mam" Hawkeye walks up to me smiling "We are really the avengers"
"Follow me!" The lady walks out form the desk and leads us to a hallway "We don't have many people visit! These kids here are sick and from families who can't really afford anything"
