-Peter pov- Meeting room-
"Please tell us all you can Wanda" I sit and stare at Wanda who avoids my eye contact "Please"
"His base is on a asteroid thing" My eyes go wide and I look over at quill who shrugs "We could take him out up there but it would be a hard fight because of all the rogue mutants"
"I say we head up there and take the fight to him" We all turn toward the door and se Miguel standing there "How's it going guys?"
"Miguel!" The spider team gets up and runs to him "How did you get here?"
"The web problem was taken care of and Madam switch is out" Miguel smile then glares at Wanda "Why is she here?"
"She is helping us now" Miguel narrows his eyes "Can I help you son?"
"You trust a traitor?" Miguel looks at Logan "You just dumb or suicidal?"
"Watch it bub" Logan stands up "She's our only shot on beating these guys!"
"Peter can I talk to you?" I look around the room and everyone nods before I walk over to Michelle "Come with me please"
"What's going on?" I follow her to our bedroom and see the twins asleep "What? Are they ok?"
"You don't even notice!" She picks up Virginia "She has hair! She grew fucking hair Peter!"
"I-I-I'm sorry" I look at Morgan and smile "She has some too...when did this happen?"
"WHEN YOU ABANDONED US!" I cringe at Michelle's yelling and she leads me out of the room to the hall "You have gone to far this time! You've forgotten me and you've forgotten your own children!"
"Peter!" I turn and hold up a hand for some privacy "Peter it's urgent!"
"What?!" I stop when I see Penelope going in and out of disappearing in Pete's arms "Oh god Penelope"
"What's happening?" Michelle runs with me to Pete "Is she gonna be ok?"
"I don't know" She stops disappearing "What just happened?"
"You were ready to leave me weren't you?" I look over at Michelle and she can't make eye contact "Penelope is our daughter from the future and if we split....she's gone"
"I can't stay just for her Peter" Michelle looks at me with tears in her eyes "This is going on for too long! Everything else you'd still notice the kids and me! But this whole mutant thing has taken you too far! You've changed and...and I don't know if I still want to be with you right now"
"Guys" We turn to Pete and see his arms are empty "She's gone"
"So am I" I watch Michelle walk back into the room "Goodbye peter"
She closes the door behind her "Kid" I look at Pete "You love her and she loves you....you only get a love like that once in a lifetime....I'm not saying stop this mission but I am saying you need to get this done and fight to get her back"
"I know" I walk toward the bedroom door "I've gotta say goodbye to my daughters"
I open the door and see Michelle packing her stuff and the babies. I sigh and don't try fighting the tears. It's not a weakness, it's showing it hurts.
"What do you want?" Michelle looks at me and wipes her eyes "Come to say goodbye?"
"I'm gonna finish this mission" She scoffs and turns away "But I'm also gonna come back after and be with you and the twins"
"I can't just keep waiting Peter!" Michelle turns angry "I love you and I love my daughters but you don't seem to! What's it going to take for us to be what you need?! Because I can't make it more obvious I need you and so do they!"
