-Cosmic Spider pov-New Asgard-
"Everything is so calm...something's about to happen" I look over at a soldier that's near by "Tell them to be ready for a possible evacuation and fight"
He nods and runs off. I look around the skies and sigh. This may just be my time when I die. I see the flying Mutants finally and I push the alarm. I just pray the teams get here soon.
"In the sky!" I shoot up as the soldiers take aim at the mutants "Take them down!"
I go after Wanda as I was told to. This was my main mission. If I can stop her we may just win. That's when I hear it. What sounds like a whole planet of fighters. Soon there are planes coming from the clouds. I get blasted down by Wanda.
"Shoot the planes!" I fly to the planes and try to help take them out "If you can't hit them hit the enemy!"
I look down and see some of the forces already being taken down. I look back at the incoming forces and shake my head. I guess fight till the end. I go back to taking down planes and enemy fighters as I fly. I get grabbed by Wanda soon though and flung into the ground.
"Stay down!" She is soon holding my throat "Why do you fight against mutant kind?!"
"Cause no one deserves this kind of death no matter the kind!" I put a hand on her head "Why do you fight your friends?"
"Because I've lost so much and couldn't have what I wanted" I see tears forming in her eyes "I wanted..I wanted..GAHHHH!"
I brace for the blast but it doesn't come. I look up and see she is to my right unconscious with a axe beside her. I turn to my left and see Thor breathing heavily.
"I ran as fast as I could down" I see the guardians fighting against the enemy on the ground and with their ship "The avengers and others will be here soon"
I nod and we both go to help out our new allies. Maybe this day will not be so gray.
-Peter pov-
"We need to get there soon" I look at Cyclops who's flying "Can this go any faster?"
"If we do we'll end up possibly hitting something" I nod but then quickly get thrown back when we stop "Oh my god"
I look up and see all of the planes and ships above the clouds. There can't be this many people. Xavier said there wasn't!
"They are distractions" I look at Logan "Some have pilots some are scrap metal held together"
"I'll stay up here and figure out what is what" Cyclops flicks some switches and opens the hatch "You all get down there and fight"
We nods and everyone pairs up with someone who can get them down. We all then take off and free fall to the fight. When I finally see it I feel sick. There's so many innocents gone. Our evacuation ship is landing next to our decoy right now and they are trying to secretly get the civilians. When I land I go to fight but get pulled back.
"Remember what I said" I look at Wolverine confused before it clicks "We got this and Scott will be done soon"
"But this fi~"
"Won't be the last kid" I look at Sam who blocks a shot at us "Go get them"
I sigh but nod. I run over to the evacuation center and look around. I can't find them until I hear the twins cry. I quickly swing over to them and then freeze when I see the twins and only one the woman I came back for.
-Wolverine pov-
This fight is already ridiculous! I just take down for more mutants to come back! How?! He didn't have this many forces!
"Illusions" I look over at a nuclear bomb looking Spider-Man "Wanda must be back up on her feet"
He shoots a energy blast at a group running at us. All of them disappear but one. So that's how this is being fought. They were testing our power.
"EVERYONE PULL BACK!" Everyone looks my way "THEY ARE NOT REAL! SOME OF THEM ARE ILLUSIONS! THEY ARE TESTING US!"
I see the soldiers and Avengers nod. The spider team continues grabbing civilians and moving them. We are now on protection duty. We don't stop until they get out.
-Pete pov-
We are close to getting all of the civilians when a red blast comes close to hitting me. I turn and see Wanda pointing at me taking aim. I brace to protect the kid behind me...the blast didn't come. I open my eyes to see Iron laying down smoking..oh god.
-Peter pov-
"WHERE IS SHE?!" I feel all eyes turn to me "WHERE IS SHE?! SHE HAD TO BE WITH YOU GUYS! I LEFT HER HERE WITH YOU!"
"I'm sorry I tried to stop her" A sob is choked out "But the iron suit was there and sh-she took it"
"Iron suit" I knew they seemed to familiar "oh god no"
I quickly swing out of the center. I look around the fight and see Pete fighting Wanda. Beside them is a slightly smoking Iron Spider. I feel my anger boil and launch into attack mode. All I see is red when I get to Wanda. Friend be damned.
"You killed her!" I kick her in the head and she goes flying down "You've killed my loved one!"
"No I didn't Peter!" Wanda looks shocked as I swing but barley miss her "Taht was one of the random one! I want you, the twins, may, Pepper, and Michelle to come with me! We can all be a family!"
"You're not my family!" I get a good kick that send her back into a wall "You've killed mine!"
I launch myself into her knocking her and myself through the wall. I hit it pretty hard because it hurt me. I stumble up and feel my head pounding. I don't even look at Wanda just try my best to get to iron. I look at all the smoke and fighting around us.
We just got out of this. How did it come back so soon? I walk to iron and start working on the mask. She's gotta be alive she has to be. I get it off and I'm met with a smile.
"H-h-hey Spider" I give a watery smile back "Don't cry...I knew what I was getting myself into buddy..just promise me you'll be fine and tell her"
"I can't lose you too" she puts a hand on my cheek "Please"
"I love you Peter" I get a smile "I always have and always will"
The hand falls and the breath is gone. I hear a sob break behind me and see Wanda standing there. She really didn't know like I didn't. She takes off and I hurt too much to be able to help stop her. With my strength I grab Iron and carry her to the ships. I don't know how I'm gonna explain this.

"Hey Peter I've been trying to find May I got some news to tell her!" I don't look at Pepper just the mask in my hand "Peter where is May?"
"Sh-she wants you to know she loves you very much" I move the sheet I'm beside revealing a oxygen masked and several IV hooked up May "She loves you so much"
"No..no...NO!" Pepper stumbles forward to the bed tears falling like waterfalls "Please tell me its not true! This is some sick joke! Get up may! Get up!"
"She's in a coma and may not get up" I wipe my tears and hand Pepper the Iron spider mask "But I'm sure if she hears the news she'll still hear it and love it"
"Yeah! They always say it helps" Pepper takes a few minutes before giving a watery smile "We had been talking about it for a while now and..and it worked! We're gonna have a kid together! I got pregnant again! But you have to come back May...you just got to"
"I'm sure she will now" I pull pepper into a hug "I'm sure she's ecstatic and is trying her best to get back now! We just gotta keep hoping"
"Hope" Pepper shakes her head "Im running low on hope"
"Then let me hope for the both of us" I lead pepper out of the room "Let's go to Michelle and the babies"
"Peter" I look at Pete and Sam "We heard what happened we are sorry"
"You hid it from me and pepper" I shake my head "Once this is done I resign as a avenger and I'm never helping the spiders again"
I turn back around and lead pepper to we're we were going. I don't think this fight will ever be the same again. I don't think anything will be the same again.
