-Michelle pov-
Everyone walks into the institute heads down. I'm holding Morgan and May is in her chair holding Virginia. I'm looking around everyone to find them. Pepper walks up in her rescue gear with tears. No...no he said he'd come back!
"We lost Peter during the fight" I feel my air cut off "We can't find him anywhere and his GPS has turned off....we are trying as best as we can"
"Is there something we can do?!" I hand Morgan to May and run over to the professor "Please there has to be something! Anything! You have to find him! You can't let him die!"
"I can try to find him with our machine but if it doesn't work" Xavier shakes his head "I'll head down there as soon as I can"
"Why not now?" I look at Logan "Push him down there! We need this machine on! WHY DON'T YOU GUYS CARE?!"
"We do" Miguel puts a hand on my shoulder "But Cosmic said we'd lose two Spiders in the fights...noir died before we went...Peter said he'd die before anyone else would"
"Who let him leave?" I see Wanda look at the ground and I growl "YOU TRAITOR!"
I get pulled away mid lunge "We need to get you out of here" Pete pulls me back with Petra "Let's go Michelle"
"Mommy?" I turn toward the door and see Penelope beside Noir "Where's dad?"
"If she's here" I look back at Xavier "Peters Alice!"
"To Cerebro" Xavier wheels quickly towards a elevator and I run behind him beside Pepper and Pete "We don't have time to lose"
We hurry to a huge X door. When he opens it screen are all around the room. Xavier puts on a helmet and closes his eyes. Soon the screens light up with kids and teens showing powers.
"I found him" The screens flicker to a lego filled room "I can't lock on location"
"But I can" I look at Pepper and Pete "I'm coming with you"
-Spider-Man pov-
I slowly open my eyes. I stagger you and take a deep breath. Pain shoots through my body and I drop back down to a knee. I look around and notice it's Neds bedroom. Memories hit me hard. I look to the wall and see Ned gone.
I stand up and slowly walk falling into the wall. I step through the door and feel like everything is spinning. I fall to the floor in the hallway and crawl to the stairs. I hear faint voices so I hide the best I can on the ceiling.
"Are you sure everything is ok sweetie?" I see Ned and Mrs. Leeds below me "That was some major thudding! You even have a split lip and black eye"
"Yeah my bass was too loud and knocked a big LEGO build into my face" Ned starts walking toward the stairs "Thanks for the ice mom"
"No problem sweetie!" When Ned is upstairs she sighs "What's that boy hiding?"
"That he's robbing places" She gasp and almost screams but I web her mouth and drop down "Shhh! I don't have much time but Ned has been using a robot to...get down!"
I push us both to the ground as a pumpkin bomb explodes above us. I turn and see Ned scowling. He has the diamond blade in his hand. What happened to him?!
"What happens Ned?" I jump back from a knife swing and land on the wall "You were my best friend then you try and kill me?!"
"You weren't there after she left me!" He charges and I move just barely missing a stab that would've killed me "I had to sit back and watch your life grow! Your family grow! While I suffered! She left me for someone else! She couldn't stop thinking about you when we kissed!"
"I'm sorry you and Shuri didn't work!" He throws a pumpkin bomb at me and I web throw it away "But I didn't know it hurt that bad! I'm sorry I was a bad friend!"
"No!" He chucks several pumpkin bombs at me "You don't get to say sorry now! I'm gonna kill Spider-Ma~"
He starts shaking violently and falls to the ground. I turn and see his mom holding a taser. Her eyes have tears in them and she drops the taser down. Ned slowly tries to stand up. He pushes a pumpkin bomb and throws it at her.
"NO!" I dive and land on top getting launched into the ceiling when it explodes "Ow that's gonna leave a mark"
"I'm gonna leave more then a mark" I look up and see Ned has the blade to his moms throat with a wicked smile "I'm gonna make you watch a innocent die!"
"Trust me kid" A web hits the knife "I've already had that threatened to me too many times"
A repulser blast sends him back and the web flings the knife away. I catch Neds mom as she faints. I check her for a pulse and see she's still alive. I look up and see Ned struggling to stand.
"I'm gonna kill you Spider-Man!" He charges at me "I am Spider-Man's worst nightmare!"
Dong!
He falls after being hit by a pan. I see Michelle look down at him then at me. I retract my mask and smile. She runs to me and I spin her around then pull her close. I feel her shaking and I'm not fairing much better.
"I told you to come back loser" Michelle pulls back "What am i gonna do with you?"
"Take a small break with me and the family?" She smiles and gives me a quick kiss "I love you"
"I love you" I see Ned move "What?
"Pepper take her out of the house" I pick up Mrs. Leeds "Pete get her out! This place is gonna blow!"
Ned hits a button and I pick him up as we run out. The house explodes sending us flying some. Pepper flys Michelle off and Pete leaves. Ned slowly opens his eyes.
"What happened to my house?!" He looks at me "You did this? But you're Spider-Man!....you've ruined my life! I'm gonna kill you!"
I shoot him down and sigh "I'm so sorry Ned" I push my ear "Yeah I have someone that needs picked up"
I swing away and shake my head. My best friend doesn't remember I'm Spider-Man and I had to send him to jail. He wants me dead. Bright side I've at least destroyed all of his Hobgoblin materials.
Now to go see my girls.
