-Peter pov-
"Peeeetttteeeerrr!" I groan and turn to my side "Peeeeetttttteeeeeerrrrr!"
"Whaaaat?" Silence falls and I open my eyes to see Virginia's face "Hey sweetheart...when did you start talking?"
"Not her loser" I turn and lay on my back. When I look up I see Michelle above me holding Morgan "Sup buttercup"
"I'm Spider-Man not buttercup!" She laughs and I smile "Why are you up so early?"
"Hmmmm I wonder why" She holds the giggling Morgan up higher "You becoming a deep sleeper on me?"
"No just tired" I sit up and grab Virginia before she can fall off the bed "I never noticed you look so beautiful holding our children"
"Flattery doesn't win you anything" She moves to her side of the bed with Morgan "So have a nice dream?"
"Yeah there was candy and rainbows! You were wearing a pink tutu a~"
"Finish that thought and I'm gonna crush your throat" I chuckle and bounce Virginia"I will hurt you bad if you keep going"
"Aye, aye captain!" I stand up and put Virginia in my arms "Let's go get some breakfast in us"
I walk out of the room and to the kitchen. When I walk in I'm met with the smell of bacon and eggs! I smile and see May holding up baby food and a spoon.
"You eat after the baby eats" I groan and stop when I see the glare "You became a dad now act like one!"
I nod and take the baby food. I walk to the high chair and sit Virginia in it. I start feeding her when the ground shakes.
"Florida is the storm state right?" We nod to Peppers question "What the hell is going on?"
"That would be me" The shaking stops and we all look at Clint "I was told to come here and talk with Pepper over some....serious matters"
"You couldn't have come more discreet?!" Pepper sighs and walks toward Clint "I'll be back"
When they walk away May looks at me "Do you know what's going on?" I shake my head no and she looks back at where they disappeared to "Ok...well I'll start on your eggs while you clean the baby you left food beside"
My eyes go wide as I turn at the covered and smiling baby. I sigh and pick her up and run to the bathroom. I stop when I hear voices.
"Look Pepper the collector thing may happen again!" Clint goes silent for a minute before speaking "When that happens I'll inform everyone to pick Tony to come back"
"Thank you" I hear Pepper sigh "I love May but...hearing I could get Tony back..it brought back feelings I've tried to hide and forget"
"If you're that miserable just leave!" I don't register I've already busted in and spoke till after "May loves you so much...yeah I was selfish not bringing back Tony! But I thought you loved my aunt enough to not care"
"Peter please keep what you just heard between us" Pepper walks toward me but I step back "Peter please"
I shake my head and run to the kitchen. I hear the footsteps behind me as I run. I stop when I get there and see May look at me confused.
"Why haven't you gotten Virgini~"
"She's going to have Clint tell whosever goes to the collector next to bring Tony back!" May freezes and I hear the breathing of Pepper and Clint beside me "May?"
"Peter get your stuff and wait outside with the twins" I don't move and she yells "NOW!"
I back away and run to the room. As I go in Michelle is walking out. I lead her in and tell her what's going on. We quickly get to work grabbing my suit and stuff I had KAREN send.
After we get our stuff we head out of the room. I hear yelling so I tell Michelle to take the twins outside. I walk toward the room Pepper and May were sharing and stop at the door.
"YOU THINK I DON'T WISH BEN COULD BE HERE?!" May gets in Peppers face. May is very obviously angry "BUT AT LEAST I CAN HONESTLY SAY IF HE CAME BACK ID STILL CHOOSE YOU! CAN YOU SAY THE SAME?!"
"I-I can!" Many steps back and motions for her to speak "If...May this is stupid!"
"No coming here was stupid" May takes off her engagement ring and hands it to pepper "I love you but you obviously don't love me...I'm going to take MY family around Florida and maybe we'll see you and Morgan around...but don't expect me to say anything to you"
"May wait" May grabs her suitcases and walks past me "Oh god..I lost both of them"
"What did you expect to happen?!" Pepper looks up at me confused "You tell Clint that if any avenger gos to that shit competition to bring Tony back! You couldn't even tell May you love her more! I'm starting to think you never did"
"I did" Pepper looks at her lap and wipes a tear "I still do but...I-I just wanna be able to have my best friend back! Yes I still love him that way but he's also the dad to my daughter! We never even got to say a proper goodbye"
"If you truly still love May you have a week" Pepper looks at me shocked "I still am holding out hope for you two...I'll inform you of everywhere we go and I'll help my best to get you free and alone"
"I'll help too" I jump at Michelle beside me "We are family and family doesn't break if it can be helped"
"Thank you both" Pepper runs over and hugs us sobbing "Thank you!"
"We need to go though" Pepper lets go nodding and I put a hand on her shoulder "But you need to figure out if you truly want her or not"
Pepper nods and we walk out of the beach house. May tells us we are going to a resort in the state. They have some Star Wars stuff there so I'm all game.
I just hope Pepper and May really can find true love together.
