Future???

I have edited to my best to make it look realistic...i dont know whether i achieved it or not. Well English is not my first language so please bear with it.

Since my childhood I always interested in horror movies rather than romantic even though Iam scared of it.Especially Zombies , Watching people turn into some inhumane thing and eating their own blood not even recognising them. I find it very silly. Even though it seems ridiculous it never forgot to leave me with chills.

I always thought what if zombies became true ? Will it be like I am  some hero like in some movies and stories or a victim?. Ugh... I hate being a victim. But thinking about no rules ... no money felt good but being in a constant danger and seeing everything in ruins  not worth it. Some times my sadistic mind thought of being hero and all but when I listed the cons i prayed it should always remain a fantasy... A very bad fantasy.
But who would have thought my prayer has gone into deaf ears.

After finishing my semester exams I gone  home to enjoy my holiday but I never imagined that will be my last visit.

I came to hostel earlier as a special courses are going to held only for particular students. So in my hostel only me and my room mate Julie who is senior and some first year students stayed.Next day my friends samantha ,Teena who stayed in my opposite room came.

As usual me and Julie stayed in our room.

Through my window I can see the research centre which always gives me this creepy feeling with its yellow eerie glow and dense trees.
I sat near the window with huff of boreness. I turned towards the research center with bored eyes.
While watching I saw a man chasing another.Hmmm...another fight.I watched them while popping peanut in my mouth.It was a occasional thing. But I found the fight is getting so morbid as time goes by. I watched  with furrowed brow. What the hell...

But the thing that happened next made me freeze.

The man who chased start to....,..oh my god ...bite the another.
I felt my breathe quickens and dammit that's not a good sign.

I called Julie and showed her for which She just started to laugh.

" They are having fun uh?" She said.

" What!! Having fun!! Don't you see blood is coming at place where he bites" we looked closely at the horror unfolding infront of us.

The horror in the man's scream made me cower away.

The man desperately moved the inhumane thing away with his dwindling strength.

I can feel julies hand around my hand  shaking.

The man who is biting another pulled away with mouthful of cheek and stringy muscles.

I gagged on the scene and turned away from it. Julie shouted at the man who searched for the sound and finally found us.

I gulped loudly.He start to grunt like an animal .

Is that a ....zombie?

I closed the window and sat on bed.

I saw Julie complaining about low signal in her mobile.

I started to panic.

I went to room where Samantha and Teena are.

" Hey..Merlin what's up??" Teena said in a cheery voice.Will they think Iam babbling again.I started thinking about what had happened and can't help shudder.

" Hey you okay??" Sam asked .

I explained what I have seen finally. They watched me with wide and confused eyes and looked at each other then at me.
