Jonny's POV
Now she's gone to her land for holidays, my days are quite empty. We haven't been talking for three days and now it's Christmas Eve. I look at the table in my living room and I can see her letter and the gift, I want so bad to read it. What could be written in? I stand up from the sofa and go towards the table and take it. I'm turning and re-turning that between my hands, curiosity gets me and I open. She's a really nice and rounded handwriting, I've imagined that. I start.
My eyes become wet fast, so fast that tears drop out of those. I just don't want to think of her while cutting, I feel a pang in my chest and it isn't definitely helpful! I have that picture of her cutting in front of my eyes, I cannot think of her scars, painful scars, it makes my heart squeeze. I want to be there by her side to kiss every single one of those, trying to erase all. We played volleyball but I didn't see them, what was I thinking about? I'm a fool. If she had been here or I there, I would have cuddle her all the time saying lovely things to make her feel the happiest girl alive. But I can't. She's not here and there will be two weeks until I'll see her again. It's too long, damn. Well there's Skype! I can see her but it's not the same as her here with me. I call her to ask if we could use that to communicate.
"Hello?" she says with her lovely voice
"Hi there, Hay!" I utter trying to pretend to be fine
"Hey Jon! How long since the last time I've heard your voice!"
"Yeah. How's going your holiday?"
"Yesterday snowed and I can say it feels like Christmas now! Everything is covered by that white thing. It's amazing! " she tells me excited as a kid
"Wonderful! Here has been raining since you left, maybe even the sky of London misses you." I say not being careful with what I utter
"Oh Jonny, I'm missing you too. I miss that city, the band, the girls... I miss everything that London gave me in that short time!"
"So, do you want to use Skype to see each other?" I ask her hoping so
"Of course Jay! I'd love to! Let me turn my computer on and I'll be able to use." she answers being adorable as usual
"Fine! I turn mine too." finally I'm gonna see her gorgeous face again, I've missed those green deep big eyes, her brilliant smile and the sweet way she chuckles.
"What have you done in these days?"
"Nothing different, just jammed with the boys and had a walk in the city, and you?"
"I stayed happily with my family, relatives... And talked a lot to my sister and best friend Joanne about my days spent there, I think I've flooded them with my tales haha!" she laughs
"Fine to hear this! I'm ready, are you?"
"Me too, I'm calling, answer."
I wait some seconds and her call comes. I see her beautiful face smiling with her eyes deep as usual and waving at me. I feel so delighted, how can she make me change my mood in few seconds? It's the love stupid Jonny, it's the love. We turn off our phones and talk with PCs.
"I can see a piece of me behind you!" I start laughing
"Oh yeah! It's a poster of the band, my room is filled with your photos!"
"Really? Let me see, I'm curious..."
"Hayley's bedroom tour! Are you ready, sir? I'm your personal guide." she says laughing
"Of course, miss."
She shows me the walls covered by photos and her library full of CDs, vinyls and books. There where photos of us dating back to the Parachutes era, some of A Rush Of Blood, X&Y, and even really old photos of the far 1999. In a corner near her bed I see the last photos taken few days ago before she left. There are the two of us laughing and hugging taken by Guy, I ask her to send me all of those, I wanna admire them to every night before sleeping or when I feel alone. I find photos of her as a little child, as a teen and then as a woman. She has been beautiful since she was very young and that beauty has never left her. I'm happy to see that black and grey aren't anymore in her bedroom, really glad of her change, now colours rule there.
