Chapter 14 - XMAS

Chapter 14

It was the beginning of Christmas break and we got two weeks off. Amanda and I packed and then headed on our three hour drive home. On the way we listened to plenty of One Direction's new album, Take Me Home, which I fell hopelessly in love with. Every single song was amazing. Amanda and I liked to crank Heart Attack and OW together.

I heard my phone go off and saw I was getting a face time call. I hit accept and saw Niall appear. I couldn't hear him over the music so I turned it down. Amanda screamed OW right after I turned the music down and she looked confused. I heard a lot of laughter from my phone.

"Wait--" she started to say.

"Hey Amanda! I'm loving your singing. You should definitely be our sixth member," Niall said jokingly. She turned bright red and focused on the road.

"Hey babe, how's rehearsal for the tour going?" I asks Niall.

He smiled and replied, "Well. Missing you of course." I grinned. "I hear you like the new album, oy?"

"Yes. We love it a lot. It's amazing! My favourite would be I Would, wait no Summer Love... Ah I don't have a favourite. I love them all!"

"Good! A lot of good feedback from the fans too which is nice. Well I just wanted to chat for bit . I've got to go back. It was nice seeing your beautiful face again," he said. I couldn't help but blush. He waved and I waved back. The call ended.

"He seemed happy to see you!" Amanda said laughing.

"Well at least I wasn't singing at the top of my lungs!"

We made it home and Amanda dropped me off at my house and she drove back to hers. We figured some time away from each other might be wise. I went in through the back door and found my long lost friend. My puppy. Well not much of a puppy anymore. Casey. My beautiful black lab mix. She greeted me with a big, wet kiss. I petted her and walked in the door. My sister was on the computer, as usual. She looked back and started freaking out.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE DATING NIALL HORAN?" she said in my face.

"Well I was going to but..." She hugged me then went back on the computer. I laughed and realised my parents weren't home. I went into my old room and through my bags down.

Christmas break was fun and relaxing. No school work or paper writing. I skyped with Niall a lot and he met my parents. I think they seemed to like him. But break was over and that meant getting to see Niall was getting closer and closer.
