Chapter 30 - Get Out of My Shower

Chapter 30

I could not sleep and kept Niall up the rest of the night after the text from Liam. He tried settling me down and nothing worked until he sang for me. He grabbed his guitar and sang. The music and his voice was soothing and made me forget everything. I'm not sure how long he played but it took awhile for me to sleep. I felt horrible when I woke up. It was only 8. I couldn't stand trying to sleep anymore so I just got up. Niall was asleep in a chair with his guitar so I gently took his guitar out of his arms and set it down. I grabbed some blankets and wrapped him up. I kissed his forehead and went to change. I realized I had no clean clothes so I took some of Niall's. I found a tank top with hands praying on it and some gray sweatpants and threw them on. I grabbed another blanket and went down into the living froom.

I was scared to look at my phone but I needed too. I had 5 missed calls and 7 texts. My mom called twice and Amanda's mom called 3 times. A lot of my relatives texted me saying they were sorry. I also got a text form Liam.

Hey we're all going to Harry's at noon if you'd like to join, to hang out

To: Liam

Count me in, Niall needs to sleep though

Figures Liam would be the one to try to tell me with everyone around. Don't get me wrong he was sweet for doing it. I wish he knew I knew about Amanda. I didn't want to go over and already know. I opened twitter on my phone to get my mind off Amanda and saw #WellMissYouAmanda trending. I looked through all the nice messages about her. It was sweet that these girls who didn't even know her were being so kind.

I closed twitter and put my phone down. I wiped my eyes which still had tears in them. I pulled my knees to my chest and rested my head on my knees. I turned the TV on and flipped through channels. I watched a show for a bit then looked at the clock and it was 10. I felt hands wrap around my chest and a head rest on my shoulder. I looked to the side to see a very sleepy Niall.

"How ya holding up?" he said before kissing my neck.

"Okay I guess. I knew it was going to happen..." I trailed off rubbing my red eyes.

"Do you want me to make you some breakfast?"

"Yes please. Chocolate pancakes?" I said giving him puppy dog eyes. He smiled and a gave me a soft kiss on my lips.

He unwrapped his arms from around my chest and started towards the kitchen. "Oh hey we're suppose to go to Harry's around noon. I told Liam you were going to stay and sleep. And don't even think about going because I'm sure you got no sleep last night and you've been taking care of me this whole time and its time for me to take care of you," I said looking back at him. He turned around and started to speak but I gave him a look of death and he stopped. I waved my hand back and he left the room.

"Pancakes are ready babe," I heard Niall yell. I got up wrapping the blanket more around my shoulders and headed into the kitchen. I ate and they were delicious. Niall didn't talk the whole time and it was an awkward silence.

"What's wrong?" I asked Niall. He was playing with his food and was barely eating. "Seriously. What did I do?"

"You did nothing. Nothing at all. Why don't you go get ready for Liam's..." he said never looking me in the eyes. I was confused. He was confusing. I sat up grabbing my plate to bring to the sink until Niall took it out of my hand and brought it to the snk for me.
