Snow

Pisces made her way down to the living room and looked out the window. She saw beautiful snow falling from the sky as it piled up outside. Pisces rubbed her eyes and checked to make sure she wasn't dreaming before yelling,"SNOW DAY!!!"

There was a ruckus upstairs before a couple of the zodiacs tumble downstairs. Cancer yelled,"What happened!?"

Libra landed on top of him and asked,"Yeah where's the fire?"

Pisces said,"Guys it's snowing!"

Libra sighed,"Jeez Pisces you scared us, someone could have gotten hurt!"

Cancer pointed out,"Libra could you get off? What you said is starting to happen."

Libra looked down and noticed he was sitting on Cancer's back. He got off him and helped him to his feet. Libra bowed,"Sorry Cancer!"

Cancer bent backwards cracking his back groaning,"Ugh, I think I'm gonna have a backache for a week."

Libra complained,"I'm not that heavy!"

"Says the one who sat on me." Cancer retorted as he held his sore back. Libra laughed and apologized again. Cancer accepted it and they went to wake up the others before going out. Cancer was oddly cheerful and woke everyone up with Libra except Capricorn who was already awake and reading a book and Orion who was no where to be found.

They always found Orion mysterious in how he would always be sleeping but at random times he would disappear all of a sudden and leave no trace or clues as to where he had gone to. 

The zodiacs all gathered into the living room except Orion who was somewhere. They didn't worry much knowing fully well that he could take care of himself. They were eating breakfast and Virgo asked,"So what should we do today?"

Sagittarius said,"Well play in the snow obviously!"

Capricorn said,"I rather stay in and study."

Libra elbowed him,"Hey Capricorn, relax for a bit. It's still the holidays."

Leo suggested,"Hey we should have a snowball fight!"

Virgo instantly said,"No, the last time we played that you chucked a snowball so hard you broke a neighbour's window."

Gemini then said,"Virgo the neighbours live pretty far away from us, I think we're fine."

Scorpio stated,"I don't see why not."

Pisces then excitedly jumped from her seat and ran off yelling,"Going to grab a jacket!"

Taurus deadpanned,"Someone's excited."

Cancer laughed at Taurus' comment and he went to open the door since he was already wearing his winter wear once he saw it was snowing. He opened the door to see a cannon of sorts pointed at him fashioned from pipes and a walkie talkie.

He then saw as the cannon launched out a blizzard which hit him head on. Everyone froze up and saw as the impact pushed Cancer onto the floor as he was buried in a pile of snow. They took a precarious peek outside as Scorpio and Taurus frantically started to dig Cancer out from under the snow pile.

They saw a hooded figure pop out from some bushes. They saw as the hooded figure pulled their hood down and revealed themselves to be a snickering Orion. They saw orion putting away some controller as he went over to the cannon saying,"Sorry I didn't know how much snow I loaded. But you guys have got to say this thing is awesome right?"

Taurus and Scorpio finally dug Cancer out and he was shivering uncontrollably. He quickly went to hug Scorpio for warmth as Taurus asked,"Cancer are you okay!?"

All they heard was a soft,"C-Cold. Want...H-Hot chocolate."

Leo yelled at Orion,"Dude you broke Cancer!"

Orion whispered to himself,"Huh funny coming from you."

"What was that!?" "Hm? Nothing, I'll put this thing away."

Orion whistled as he grabbed the cannon and started pushing it somewhere. Sagittarius, Gemini, Aries and Leo all had the same idea and nodded to each other.

Cancer was wrapped in a couple blankets as he sipped from a cup of hot chocolate Taurus passed him. She and Scorpio sat next to him and drank hot chocolate while they talked. "Cancer are you feeling any better?" Scorpio asked

"Y-Yeah, sorry about the hug thing. Christ that was cold." Cancer shivered from both the cold and the fear. Taurus smiled,"Yeah you were hugging him so tightly that Aquarius almost got jealous."

"Wait maybe she did! Oh I have to-" "Jeez Scorpio you and Aquarius are so in love." Taurus teased.

Cancer asked her,"Taurus have you gotten an answer yet?"

Taurus shook her head before asking,"How did your one go, I never got to know."

Cancer looked into the cup and said,"Yeah, it didn't work out."

Taurus sighed patting his back,"Ah, that sucks man. But it's okay you'll find someone." "Nah I've given up on love."

Scorpio looked back and forth between Cancer and Taurus,"Is there something I'm missing?"

Taurus said,"You'll find out soon enough, but Cancer why have you given up on love I'm sure you must be overreacting."

Cancer looked up dreamily saying,"Eh, I'm disenchanted. One heartbreak is enough, You know what sucks?"

Taurus asked,"What?" "I never even got to tell her."

Taurus stood up and shook Cancer yelling,"YOU DIDN"T EVEN TELL HER HOW YOU FELT!?!?"

"Uh, Uh, Uh. Taurus I'm getting dizzy..." Taurus let him go and apologized,"Oh sorry, but you have to tell her dude!" "Seriously I think I'm missing important pieces of evidence to play a role in this conversation." Scorpio pointed out.

Taurus explained to him,"Okay so basically Cancer and I both agreed to confess to our crushes during the meteor shower. Mine was Sagittarius and his was Leo. I told Sagittarius and now I'm awaiting his answer while apparently Cancer here didn't tell Leo anything and think's she doesn't feel the same!"

Cancer said,"Okay in my defense she told me something that confirmed it before I could tell her!" "Like what?" Scorpio asked now knowing the context.

"She likes Libra and she asked me to help her woo him." Cancer said.

Taurus and Scorpio both sucked their teeth and Taurus said,"Yeah can't blame you on thinking that."

Cancer said,"I don't care anymore. Telling her would be asking for a second heartbreak with the same girl. But like I said I don't care anymore."

Scorpio praised him,"At least you got over her." "Yeah, by the way where are the rest?"

Taurus put a finger to her chin,"I think they said something about getting Orion back for Cancer. He should be fine."

Outside Orion was tied to a large tree trunk and had the snow cannon pointed at him fully loaded. Leo held the remote and Orion tried to reason with them,"Guys, come on. This is excessive, taking the hit point blank and a it's fully loaded. I shot Cancer twenty metres away and we all know how that turned out."

Gemini rubbed his hands together evilly and raised his hand signalling the rest to cover their ears and take cover while Leo readied her hands to press the button. Gemini lowered his hand yelling,"FIRE!!!"

Leo pressed the button and the snow launched at Orion covering the whole area in a thick cloak of snow, blinding everyone for a brief moment. When they looked at where Orion was, all they saw were the ropes that were used to tie him to the tree. Aries saw him getting away from them and she yelled,"Get him!"

Everyone there started to chase Orion around the backyard.
