Naomi's outfit in the media.

"Last day of school bitches!" Bimbo shouts happily.

"Guy, it's just midterm not the end of secondary school" Anita says dryly.

I stare at them blankly at least you have something to be happy about while me I have to find different ways to avoid Alex all through the midterm break.

"You don't even look happy" Bimbo says to me.

I quickly fix my face and put on a smile. "I'm happy o, don't mind me"

I sight Diane from the corner of my eye she seems to be approaching our table.

"Hey" she says stopping in front of us.

"Hello" Bimbo chirps.

She seems to be in a good mood.

"Is there a problem?" Anita snaps.

"Nope, I just wanted to invite you guys for my birthday party" she says handing us invitation cards.

"Thank you" I say collecting all three then I take one and give the rest to Bimbo and Anita.

"So should I be expecting you?" She asks smiling.

Anita smiles sweetly at her. "Yeah, we'll be there"

"Alright" she says then she walks off.

As soon as she's out of earshot, I turn to face Bimbo and Anita.

"Are you guys really going?" I ask knowing the type of people Bimbo and Anita are.

"Maybe" Anita says.

"If we're bored that day, are you going?" Bimbo asks mr.

I shake my head to say no. Even if I'm free, I won't be going.

I'm sure her boyfriend's weird friend will be attending that party and I don't want what happened that day to repeat itself.

Plus, I'm just lazy. I hate getting ready for events and stuff like that.

The bell rings to signify the end of the school day and in no time at all students start filing out of the class.

The hallway is so noisy. I'm not surprised everyone is so happy about the midterm break.

From what my friends told me this terms midterm test was the hardest and most stressful one that they had seen in a long time.

We go over to Art class and wait for our friends there, we all walk outside to the tuckshop together.

We all buy one thing or the other, I bought Fanta because it was very cold and I couldn't resist and then I saw Temi with plantain chips and I looked nice so I bought that too.

"So how far Diane's party?" Tyrone asks.

"It depend let's wait till then" Ayo says.

We all seem to agree with that.

"Why are you talking sef, you're travelling" I say to Ayo.

"I even forgot. In that case, I don't know" he says with a small laugh.

I see my driver waiting at the car as soon as we get to the car park.

Praise God!! This is good for two reasons, I'm going home early and Alex isnt picking me up.
