Naomi's P.O.V

"Madam, please eat something" Mary says pleadingly.

Her persistence was beginning to irritate me. I haven't eaten anything for two days, I just wasn't hungry but this Mary doesn't want to stop disturbing my life.

"Please leave me alone, I will eat when I'm ready" I say in an end of discussion voice.

But Mary, doesn't take the hint.

"Madam, this isn't good for your health. You eat some days, you don't eat on some days, and you'll get sick oo" she says with concern evident in her voice.

"Is it you that will get sick or me?" I ask her with a stern look.

She lets out a sigh and I can tell she's getting frustrated.

Let me back up a bit so you can understand. It's been two months since my birthday party and it hasn't been a good time at all.

After that day that Alex called me when I was at Aaron's house my life turned upside down, I have not been myself.

When I got home that day, Alex was livid he was screaming at me like a mad person then I opened my mouth to talk and he pounced on me.

He beat me up black and blue that day. He smashed my phone right in front of me ad he broke my sim too.

I haven't been able to talk to Aaron and I've been worried sick. I can't even think of running away because Alex has stopped going to work because he doesn't trust the gate man so he works from home now.

I'm running mad, if you see me sef you will know that I'm slowly losing my mental stability.

"I don't want to eat anything, please leave me alone"!! I shout and she flinches at my tone.

"Leave her alone, since she doesn't want eat, It's hunger that will kill her" Alex says bitterly.

I even forgot he was in the room. Idiotic human being.

"It is hunger that will kill your generation, Idiot"! I say with an ear piercing hiss.

He just ignores my statement, he has resorted to ignoring me then on days when he comes home drunk, if I get in his way he will beat me up.

"Mary take the food away, I'll come and eat downstairs" I say.

She gives me a look that shows she doesn't believe me but she has to listen to me so she leaves.

I reluctantly get up and put on my slippers.

Aaron's P.O.V

I'm currently seated in Ayo's spacious study, he works from home so this is his office and sometimes I come over to disturb his life.

Not today though, I came to work today.

"When last did you talk to Naomi sef?" Ayo asks furiously typing away on his computer.

I haven't spoken to her in a while. I've been extremely busy and I could say the same for her because she hasn't called either.

Every time, I want to call her something will come up and I'll end up forgetting.

"It has been long" I say with a sigh.
