CHAPTER 25

Ruth's P.O.V

We're all in the living room watching a movie after dinner but I have to leave so I can go and carry out my duties.

When I first met Naomi I absolutely hated her and I don't even know why because she didn't even do anything to me.

After a while, I found out that a liked her a lot. She is such a good sister to me.

"I'm so tired" I say with a yawn.

"Go get some sleep" Naomi says to me.

"But I want to finish the movie" I say with a louder yawn.

"Don't worry, I'll tell you what happened" she says.

"Alright" I say getting up.

"Good night, don't disturb me" I say as I go up the stairs.

"Go to bed, you're such a pain in the neck" Nathan says and I hiss loud enough for him to hear.

I got to my room and get my phone then I lock the door with the key and head over to Naomi's room.

I enter her room and set my phone on her drawer. I place it behind her book which she placed against the wall and I allow only the camera to show then I start recording.

I crawl under her bed and it's so uncomfortable but this is something I have to do for my sister.

I feel like I've been under the bed since forever. The door opens and I see Naomi.

She turns of the light at the crashes on the bed.

I don't know when I slept off but I'm woken up by the sound of the door.

"Naomi" someone says and I start recording.

"Alex please can you spare me this night, I'm not feeling too good" she says in a pleading tone.

"No. I make the rules her and I say I'll do whatever I want with you whenever I want" he says sternly.

What a bastard. How dare you?

I can't believe Naomi kept this type of abomination to herself I am beyond devastated.

I can't wait to expose this fool.

The room becomes illuminated meaning he put on the light. That's great now the video will be crystal clear.

I stay under the bed hearing all her screams of protests and it's taking everything in me not to come out and pounce on him.

"Remember this stays between us" he says then I hear him leave.

There's a moment of silence then the next thing I hear is Naomi's sobs which keep getting louder and louder.

I don't even realize I'm crying till I feel the wetness of tears on my face.

I come out quietly and get my phone from behind the books then I sneak back to my room.

I sit on my bed and text Ayo all the details and he said they'll be here tomorrow morning.

I guess we're going to be a little late for school tomorrow.

I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

Naomi's P.O.V

I wake up feeling sore all over and to make matters worse I have to go to that hell called school today. To top it all off, I'm really late its five minutes to nine someone must have turned off my alarm.

Something doesn't click, even if my alarm was off Ruth or Nathan could've woken me up.

"Naomi!" I hear my mum shout from downstairs.
