Chapter 8 - Can we kiss?

||Midoriya POV:||

Toga and Twice had some 'exciting' news. They gathered us all together just to tell us that they are dating now. I think Uraraka already knew because she looked all puffy eyed as if she had been crying and didn't seem to surprised at the announcement. I am happy for them but mostly only because this means Toga will stop flirting with me as much. But it must be hard for Uraraka, I can't imagine my crush having a boyfr- Hold up. I just realised that I never asked dear Todoroki if he had a boyfriend or girlfriend. I get up and go to ask him, but knowing me you know I won't do it in an easy way. I can't just ask him, I have to do a... test.

I walk in and he was sat on the chair tapping his foot. He looked very, very..... bored. His head lifts up and he looks at me.

"Hello Midoriya,"he says.

"Sup Todo" I pull up a chair and sit on it backwards.

"Don't call me that."

"Whatever. I have came in here to talk to you."

"If you want to ask me if I have decided, don't bother."

"Well I didn't, even though you are taking your sweet time, I came to just chat. I want to be friends with you."

"Well unless I become a villain, I don't want to be your friend."

"Aww come on, I don't bite."

"But you do kill."

"I have only killed a few times and even then I had good reason."

"Which was?"

I hesitate, "I don't remember right now."

He rolls his eyes, "Isn't that convenient."

"Don't start getting all cocky now, I could do whatever I wanted to you."

"I know."

I smirk, spin the chair around and sit on it correctly.

"So Todo... how are you feeling?"

"Stop calling me that. But surprisingly I feel quite calm, considering I have been kidnapped by villains and shit."

I laugh, "That's a good sign."

He smiles a bit and I edge my chair closer to him. He moves his arms and winces.

"Are you ok?"

"No, everytime I move to scratch an itch these stupid ropes rub."

"Well, I can't loosen or get rid of the ropes but I can scratch your itch. Where is it?"

"Yeah thanks, it's on my chest..."

I nod and get up. I walk over and start to scratch his chest. I know this was pretty forward but it was all part of my plan. To be honest he didn't seem to bothered. I lift my head up and our eyes meet. I slow the scratching and he blushes. He gulps and I lean towards him. Our lips meet and we start to kiss. My hands go up in his hair and he leans forward to continue the kiss. We do this for a bit longer when his head suddenly jolts back, his eyes wide.

"What's wrong? " I say.

"I s-shouldn't have done that..."

"Because I'm a villain?"

"Not just that... I never told you but I am gay, obviously, and I have a boyfriend..."

"Oh... Todoroki I am so sorry."

"It's ok I guess, you didn't know... this is on me."

I nod slightly.

"I'll leave..."

I get up and walk out with the new information... but it's not what I wanted.
