Adeline's POV

I feel the burn, lingering in my blood as I stand up in front of Pogo. He looks up at me with pity full eyes. I feel my senses heighten, as once more my dangerous abilities take my wants for granted. I knew this time would be bad.

As I march out of the greenhouse, Pogo quickly stands, attempting to grab my hand as he becomes fully aware of how wrong they had done me. 

"Adeline! Adeline, please!" He begs as I pull my arm away from him, throwing my hand out to walk back through the Academys back door.

As I storm into the lounge where my brothers and sisters sat calmly, their eyes dart up to meet mine. But I don't look. I simply glare with a fiery burn in my veins as I walk up to Allison "Adeline?... What's wrong?" She asks as I beg myself to stop. As I felt all take over, I grabbed her violently.

"Adeline!" Luther yells aggressively as Diego tries to back him away, knowing it would only make it all worse 

In this moment, every siblings flew into a heightened stance as I push her against the wall, my hand wrapped tightly around her throat as she claws at my hand, begging for me to stop. 

But I couldn't

I couldn't stop

As I felt the energy fly up my veins, into my now glowing hands, Allison tries to shift. She struggles and chokes as I feel the glow in my eyes begin. I knew I couldn't stop. 

"You knew about me... the whole time! And you never said anything!" I scream as her eyes turn a faded brown

"Adel-" She chokes out

I feel the warm stream of tears fall from my face as each siblings wide eyes watch in panic. Suddenly, Luther whips around, trying to grab me. But my skin was electric. As soon as his harsh hand touched my unforgiving skin, a shock sent him backwards violently with a loud electrically bang vibrating the thick tense air around us all.

"You made me forget" I whimper out, eyeing her deeply as she looks into my eyes with fear "You took him away..."

"Adeline! Stop! You're going to kill her!" Diego yells across the room

A loud, buzzing electric storm seemed to form around me in a deep amber colour as the rooms air becomes almost unbreathable. I could feel the storms current burning a gentle kiss on my skin. 

As Allison's eyes droop and fade, I attempt to snap back into control. Pulling myself backwards violently as both Allison and I fall to the floor below. As quickly as it flared, the storm around us faded with electric buzzes as it disappeared. I looked up, heaving on the floor, inches away from Allison.

I was angry. Lied to. And someone who could have kept me from that pain left me in the dark for her own sake. 

Allison coughed and spluttered on the floor in front on me as Luther rushed to her, helping her stand to her feet "What the hell was that?!" He scolded

Diego and Klaus rushed to me, trying to help me to my feet. Both of them pulled their hands away quickly as my skin still burned, leaving me to the floor as they grabbed their hands in pain. 

"You can't go pulling shit like that, Adeline!" Luther scolds more

I stand up, walking up to him as I looked up at his tall figure with a glare, challenging him. I grit my teeth, trying not lose it all again. Luther's eyes soften to back down, his head slightly ducking as he turns away to help Allison to the infirmary. 

I turned away, looking away from my siblings "I'm leaving" I simply mutter, storming out of the lounge

I don't look back. Not even for a moment.
