champagnepapi What we understand isn't for everyone else to understand, not even your man. 🤞🏽 We experienced something beautiful, too bad we couldn't make it last. You may not be with me right now, but you're with me always. ❤️

Shawnie's POV

The next day, I was woken up by a ding from my phone, notifying me of a notification. I looked down and Chris was laying on my stomach, with his arms around me. I would say he's acting like I'm pregnant already, but this actually isn't anything new, we used to sleep like this all the time. I know he's happy he gets to do this again.

"Babe!" I say rubbing his head, trying to wake him up.

"Hmmm?"

"I have to pee." I laugh a little.

"Just hold it. I'm comfortable babe." He says not moving.

I laugh, "Babe!"

He makes a sound out of irritation, "Coooooommmmeeeee ooooooon Babe!" He rolls over onto his side of the bed.

I laugh as I get out of bed. I go into the bathroom, do my morning routine and I come back out a few minutes later. He was sitting up in bed, on his phone.

"Oh you're up?"

"Yeah." He says, putting his AirPods in his ears.

I don't say anything, I figured he was just upset because I woke him up. I grab my MacBook and climb back in bed. I start checking e-mails. Kevin, the manager at my old office, in Chicago, sent me a few client inquiries. He's the best, I resigned from his office and he still is sending me inquiries.

"I'm going to have to take a trip to Chicago soon. I have a few court dates." I say to Chris.

He nods his head, he isn't paying attention to me. He's really mad at me. I laugh a little because that's the mean-ass Chris I know and love. He'll get over it.

I go back to my emails. A couple minutes later, he taps my arm.

"He sent it back."

"The song?"

"Yeah, he did two verses and a hook. One at the top and at the bottom. Listen." He starts the song.

He plays the song for me and I actually like it. The lyrics are kind of questionable but I like it. When Chris finishes it, it's probably going to be a hit.

"Do you like it?" I ask

"I actually do. That bitch trying to take some jabs, but yeah. It's cool."

"I noticed the lyrics too. He calls me mami all the time, and calls me crazy and he says he likes it."
