Shawnie's POV

A week later, I flew back home to Chicago, but not before Chris fucked my brains out. I think it's absolutely hilarious how we can break up, but still stay together, and act like everything is perfectly fine. It funny, but not really. We can't get it together, but I would like to say it makes us stronger, and it might, but what I really know is it definitely makes us crazier about each other.

I think Chris and I have an understanding now. No matter what, we'll always be there for each other, meaning we'll always be available to the other person and it didn't matter what the situation is. We come first. Call me stupid, but I know Chris struggles with certain things, so why not give him what he wants when it comes to those things. I'll still feel a way about him being with someone else, but his heart is still with me, and I think I'll be able to deal with that. I have his baby, I'm always going to come before any woman anyway.

So I'm coming home to Chicago, with Chris' permission. I didn't tell my dad, I wanted to surprise him. Plus, I have to tell him he's going to be a grandfather. I don't know how he's going to take it, because he isn't too fond of Chris right now, but I think he'll be happy overall.

Chris is coming in a few days, weeks depending on if things turn out how he wants them to. He needs to get things straightened out business wise before he checks himself into rehab. He wants to push back the tour, release his album, and possibly shoot another video, before he goes away. He's trying to set things to when he gets out, he could just go directly into tour, if the label lets him.

After I flew to Chicago on Chris' pj, I got into a blacked out truck that was waiting for me. The driver loaded my bags into the back of the truck, he got in, and we were on our way to my hotel. It's still weird I don't have a home to come back to. I never got around to looking for another house here since I moved in with Chris, so I'm staying in a hotel. Chris rented out one of the penthouses at the W Hotel. Since I'm probably going to be staying here for a while, at least six months, Chris wanted me to be comfortable in my own space, and he's going to need a place to stay as well, so that's why he got a 3 bedroom penthouse. It's too much room, if you ask me, but I'm just going with what Chris wants.

I checked into the hotel and headed up to my new home. I opened the door and I was a little surprised at how big it was.
