While brushing a knot out of her hair, Myre stepped on the scale. She felt bigger. She looked bigger. The scale read 156 pounds. 12 pounds... I've almost put on the freshman fifteen again. With the snarl of hair sorted, she pressed her hands onto her waist. Her stomach was filling out. A bit of chubbiness was pressing up from under her bra and the crease below her belly was becoming even more exaggerated. "Oh look at me! All this ice cream is really leaving its mark."She said to herself in an amused tone. She turned to the side and pulled her shirt down and admired how it stretched the fabric and how the bottom of her stomach peeked out.
Spurred by her confidence she pulled out her phone. She typed out several messages to her boyfriend, Evan. Unsatisfied with how they flowed, she deleted them and chose to call instead.
"Hi. Yes. Hello. Myre!" Evan stammered.
Myre was silent for a moment forgetting that her smile wouldn't show through the phone line. "Hey honey. Honey? I don't know if I like that term."
"Heh. Hey. I'm sorry about a couple nights ago. I really didn't want to just turn you down. I'm sorry for disappointing you... Thank you for sending the test results. Did you get mine?"
"I did get them. Though I wasn't really worried. You didn't seem the type to go running around willy nilly. I did really want you in my bed. I still do! But I also get wanting to be safe. Thank you. Really! And I'm more thrilled than anything that you asked me out! I wanted to ask you out for awhile, but I thought I might scare you off... I can be a bit -"
"Enthusiastic?" Evan finished her sentence for her.
"Yes! That! I've had people put off by me coming on too strong. So i was worried as well that-"
Evan interrupted her again. "There wasn't a chance of me turning you away like that. No, I really like that about you."
Myre twirled and then leaned against her bathroom counter with a wide smile. "I'm trying to figure out what to call you. You know, like a pet name I guess? Do people still do that?"
"I'm sure you'll find something you like. As long as you're nice, you can call me whatever you like. I really want to see you again. Soon."
"And do what?" Myre teased.
Evan gave a nervous laugh. "I need to be more open with you. I'm scared. I've had some uhh - let's say bad relationships before. Hurtful. And they've stuck with me. I don't want to mess things up with you just because of what other people have done to me."
Myre turned around and leaned her elbows on the counter. "Oh Evan. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to rush you... I promise I'll be super gentle with you. And patient. You won't have to worry about me."
Evan chuckled. "I know you will. I believe you. That's why I asked you out. Thank you. And no, you haven't done anything wrong. I don't want it to sound like I don't want more with you. I absolutely do. Because you're sooo beautiful..."
"Oh am I?" Myre said in a coy tone.
"I've always thought that."
"You're a handsome man yourself. I want you so bad. Even more now that we're together. Maybe - can I suggest a date plan?"
"Please do."
Myre stood up straight and looked at her belly in profile in the mirror. "We should go out to dinner. A big one. You make sure I'm nice and full. Then we come home and hang out. Maybe more. Does that sound nice?" She felt light headed for suggesting the plan. He would call her bluff any second and end the whole thing.
"Heavenly. Maybe uh - if you're up to it - some ice cream too? You know? It's tradition at this point. Heh. Heh."
"For you? I'll make room for ice cream." Myre tried her best to avoid groaning with approval. Oh my gosh! I can't believe we're flirting like this. I should tease him more. No. I shouldn't. I shouldn't overstep anything here. Oh god, tell me to eat more though... She pinched the fat on her stomach.
"Fuck. I wish I wasn't so busy at work. We're swamped. Were doing a complete inventory on all the supplies and machines to see what needs to be replaced and upgraded. I'm going to be swamped..."
"I understand. Just give me a date. Any date." Myre encouraged him.
"Uhhh. April 30th. Next Friday."
"Aww. That's so long! Are you sure I can't grab you for a long lunch?"
"I wish. Believe me I do. But there is a ton of work to do. And - well - I don't think I could treat you right in just 45 minutes. Heh."
"Oookay. But you owe me late night games or shows. Even if you're tired. No excuses. I'll lull you to sleep with my laugh."
Evan laughed. "Yes. I can do that. I can't wait for that either. Damn it. I have to go to work now. I'm already not going to be able to get your sexy form out of my head."
Myre let out an aroused excited laugh.
"Sorry to be so blunt."
"No no no! Don't stop that! You're fine. I can't wait to be sexy for you in person. Also for dinner."
"Me too."
"Goodbye handsome!" Myre hung up the phone and set it onto the counter. He wants me to eaaaat. Oh my gosh he does. The only thing I suggested really was food and sex. And he was totally on board! Oh Evan, fill me with food and poke my belly. She pulled her shirt up again and ran a hand down her soft stomach. Even if he isn't into all this... He sure seems to not mind me eating everything - gaining all this weight. Even if he's not trying, he's going to get me fat... Myre nibbled her lip. A coy thought ran through her mind. A fantasy that maybe wasn't far off. What if he asks me to gain weight? She grasped the sides of her belly and took a shallow breath. Yes. I'd do it.
She paced down the stairs, propelled by this thought. Why should I wait for him to ask? I can show him what to expect as we date...
She prepared a large milkshake with the richest ice cream she had: Myre's Marvelous Mix. As she stared at it in her hand, she pondered. I should really try and grow. His look - just like at the food trucks - I need it. I'll walk out with this stretched belly and he won't be able to look away. I - I wonder how much weight I could gain in a week? She made her choice. Myre tilted her head back and drank the milkshake down.
With the cold sitting in her stomach she filled her cup again. More. Another milkshake. She drank it down. The icy dairy made her shiver. With a stomach stuffed with calories and went back upstairs. She cradled her stomach with a smile and stroked it with pride. Come on belly, you use those milkshakes well!
