The lower levels of Ruby Peak contained an arena, several convention centers, and dozens of banquet halls, along with tons of space for everyday shopping. It was rare that there wasn't some kind of special event being hosted in the building. The docket for Friday, May seventh, 2021 included a hockey game, A technical conference about advanced neural network computing techniques, a niche video game convention, and a media publicity event featuring local artists, craftsmen and musicians. Being a member of that last group meant that Veera was almost contractually obligated to attend.

Her presence alone warranted its own convention. The line for her picture and signing booth filled a banquet hall all by itself. The raucous crowd cheered as she stepped out on a stage to greet her adoring fans. The elevated standing space felt narcissistic for a signing and photo event, but being so short, she was still only barely visible to the crowd. However with her vibrant outfit, there wasn't a chance anyone in the room would miss her. She was dressed to dazzle in a sparkling silver unitard and thigh length heels to match her platinum hair. The sunlight raining down from the glass roof made her shimmer from the distance. The glitter swirls painted on her temples matched the shine of her almost amber eyes.

The day passed quickly as she greeted and interacted with fans. She signed CDs, vinyl, and other random objects. She posed for thousands of pictures, often making silly or epic poses on request. The love and adoration lit a fire in her soul, even if one conversation seemed to blend into the next.

"Of course I'll sign your cast," She said to a young woman, cradling a recently broken and patched arm. "You definitely seem strong enough," she laughed as she, at his request, hopped into the arms of a kindhearted weight lifter. "If you work hard, and work smart you can do something truly great. But you have to work hard at it!" She advised a pair of young teen girls, with cheeks bedazzled like their idol. She hugged a mourning mother and put a smile on her face then she recorded a birthday message for someone's ailing friend.

The mood was electric.

The next fan stepping onto the small wooden stage seriously caught Veera's eye. She had seen her filtering through the line. Even through the bright stage and sun light, she was easy to spot.

The wood creaked, as she steadied herself on the railing. The woman was huge. Veera guessed she was at least 400 pounds and taller than Veera by almost a foot. She had plump thighs that prevented her legs from pressing together. She had arms that stretched her sleeves. Her neck was a thick double chin, and her boobs strained an undersized bra. The only reason Veera could tell details of the woman's bra was because of how tight her shirt was. And that was what made Veera's heart skip a beat. Her huge round belly pressed out a foot in front of her, straining her clothes. Even though it was tucked into some kind of supersized maternity pants, her deep belly button was plainly visible. Her effort to climb the single step up to the stage, made the shirt rise up more. She pulled the shirt down, but it still wouldn't cover her bellybutton back up.

She was pretty, with long braided blond hair, and elegant frameless glasses. With interlocked fingers, she grinned down at Veera.

"Hi!" Veera beamed. "Come on over, I'm Veera!" Oh my fucking god. Look at all her curves! She must be so heavy. Look at that glorious belly. It had to take so much food to get that big... God, I can only imagine.

"I uh - I'm such a big fan! I'm Lilly."

The next fan in line, a grungy teen, made a loud comment to his friend. "Big fan definitely. They should call her free willy, not Lilly. Hah! How'd a whale get so far up the mountain I wonder? haha!"
