Chapter 4

I was in Jacob and I's room, getting ready for bed. I showered, tied my hair up in a messy bun and put on one of Jacobs t shirts. Oh how his scent drove me crazy! I smiled and layed down in bed. Jacob was finishing up some paper work in his office but was supposed to be coming to bed any. Minute.

I was nervous. This would be the first time we slept in the same bed. My wolf howled at the thought of sleeping with our mate. How was I going to control her tonight? She was ready to be mated with Jacob but I wasn't.

I sighed and Jacob walked in. He smiled at me and took off his shirt and pants, leaving him only in his boxers. He crawled into bed beside me and pulled me close to him by my waist. The tingles sent through my body forced me to bite my lip. He seen that and his eyes went dark with lust. "Do you realize how beautiful you are," he whispered in my ear. I smiled and blushed to myself. He kissed my cheek and then my jaw, making his way down to my neck. I couldn't help but tilt my head back as he trailed kisses down my tender skin. A moan escaped my lips and he groaned, pulling me directly under him. My breath sped up and I slowly came to realization.

I pushed him away a little and said, "we should get some rest." A low growl rumbled in his chest. I knew he didn't want to stop. He sighed and said, "alright baby, sweet dreams my love." I could see the restraint in his eyes as he kissed my lips, gently. I cuddled into him and surprisingly found sleep so easily.

I woke up, next to my soul mate. There was no better feeling than this. He slept so peacefully, with his arm around my waist. God how young he looked when he slept. So sweet and innocent.

His eyebrows furrowed together as his eyes opened. He smiled at me and mumbled, "Goodmorning baby." I blushed at the sound of his extremely sexy, sleepy voice. "Goodmorning my love," I grinned.

In one swift motion, he picked me up off the bed and carried me downstairs to the kitchen. "You hungry," I laughed. "Starving," he smiled. He set me down and I went to the cabinets, they were fully stocked. A girl could get used to this. I grabbed the pancake mix, chocolate chips, oranges and eggs and bacon. I made chocolate chip pancakes and home made orange juice. I fried the bacon and eggs, just how Jacob likes.

I served him a king size plate and sat next to him on the chairs at the counter. He smiled at me and dug right in. My big pig. He was finished within minutes and I got him a second helping.

"We should get everything ready for the party tomorrow," he told me. I almost forgot... Almost. "I'm so excited," I yelled and kissed his cheek. He chuckled and said, "there's gonna be tons of people, all there to see you baby." He kind if grimaced now and said, "if I see any guys talking to you, I swear I'll kill them!" I put my hand on his shoulder and said, "why would I even want another guy talking to me when I have you?"

   We spent the whole day preparing for tomorrow. We spent $4,000 on alcohol. I didn't think it would be possible to even finish it all. But knowing our pack brothers and some of the kids from school, anything was possible. We made sure to warn the pack elders and they didn't have a problem with it. Probably because Jacob was the alpha, whatever he wanted he could get. Even though he did not like to abuse his power.

   It was finally 11 at night and we were laying in bed. "I'm so happy to have you Vanessa, the moon goddess has truly blessed me," he whispered. I don't know why but my jealousy came out and said, "are you sure? I mean you seemed pretty happy with Alicia." We never really got to talk about that subject and it's always been eating away in the back of my mind.

   He let out a sigh and said, "she's in the past Vanessa." "Did you sleep with her," I straight out asked. He fell silent and in that moment my heart was physically in pain. I knew he could feel it, he reached out to pull me to him. "Don't," I whispered. He looked at me, hurt in his eyes. I turned and faced the wall, bringing my hands to my aching chest. My mate slept with someone else..... I didn't know what to feel. "I'm sorry, Vanessa, I regret it," I could hear the remorse in his voice. The tears flowed from my eyes as I let them lull me to sleep.

    In the morning, I woke up to Jacob staring at me. "Baby, please forgive me," he begged me. I ignored the ache in my heart and whispered, "okay Jacob." "I'm so sorry, I didn't want to hurt you, if I would've known it was you all along I wouldn't never even dated her. She's nothing to me, you're everything," he rambled on. I pressed my lips to his. Letting the sparks that consumed me cover my pain. "I love you Jacob," I whispered. "I love you Vanessa," he smiled.

A/N- Vanessa forgave him but no matter what that pain will follow. What's going to happen tonight at the party, will Alicia show up?
