CHAPTER 33.

CHASE'S POV

I am here inside my room while reading all of the documents that Solomon gave me. While reading there's information that caught my eye.

I grabbed that paper and read it. I creased my forehead because of what's written there.

"Marcus Carsons is in love with Sabrina Bucket. He was the one who killed her and tried to kill my Elaine." I read it loudly.

"He's in love with her while Sabrina is in love with Mr. Valentine. So, that's the reason why he killed her." I concluded.

I was about to read the next line when someone called me on my phone. I grabbed it then I saw Elaine's number. I answered it.

"Yes, my Elaine? Something wrong?" I answered her call calmly. Damn. I miss her. Lagi akong nawawalan ng oras sa kaniya ngayon.

I am really deeply, madly, and truly in love with my boss' daughter. I can't let her go now, I am crazy for her and I'm willing to do everything just to make her stay with me.

Kaya kailangan kong gumawa ng paraan agad para masabihan si papa tungkol sa gusto niyang malaman sa'kin.

"M-may bumabaril sa'min ni Andrew. Ang dami nila at hindi sila kaya ni Andrew na mag-isa. Nasa tapat kami ng bahay." I stood up from my seat.

She's in danger. I should go to her now before it's too late. I don't want her to be hurt.

"Got that. I'll be there, my Elaine. And be safe." I put down my phone then ran outside my room. I saw Flinn and the others are chilling in the living room.

"Elaine is in trouble right now. May mga bumabaril sa kaniya!" I stated. All of them get their guns and we ran outside the house.

We saw the enemies firing at some direction. We shot them also from our place. Some of them tried to shoot us but failed.

Kaya naman pala hindi namin naririnig dahil sa lahat sila ay naka-silencer.

We shot all of them until there's no one left. We ran towards the direction that the enemies are shoot at and we saw some guys that we didn't know.

She's with Andrew and Denniel. Denniel has been shot and I can clearly see that she's worried about him. I felt jealous because of that. I shook my head sideways and this is not the right time for that.

I walked towards her to make sure that she's okay and not hurt because of what happened.

My Elaine?!" I call her. She looked at my direction then ran towards me and hugged me. I hugged her tight and I smiled in relief.

"I'm so glad that you're safe, my Elaine." I whispered. I heard her sighed in relief. I am happy that she's safe and sound.

KYRA'S POV

Nandito kaming lahat sa parang meeting room dito sa bahay ni papa. Pinasama din ni papa sa loob ng kwarto ang mga kaibigan ni kuya Denny.

"Sigurado ba kayong okay lang na magtiwala sa kanila?" Rinig kong tanong ni sir Charles kay Kurt.

"How should I know? Bakit hindi na lang natin muna sila pakinggan bago tayo humusga?" Sagot naman ni Kurt.

"Father, I know that you told me not to ask someone outside the group but I really have too." Paninimula ni kuya kay papa.

Napatigin ako kay papa na masamang nakatingin kay kuya. Hanggang ngayon ay galit pa rin si papa kanila lola.

"It's fine. Next time, don't do this again. We don't need their help. We don't need your mother's family help." Mariing saad ni papa at napatango na lang si kuya.

"So, the rumors about the conflict are true." Rinig kong konklusyon ni Mathew at sumandal sa whiteboard. Sila Chanielle at ang iba naman ay nakatingin lang at tahimik.

"Where's Michael by the way? He's with us a while ago right?" Rinig kong bulong ni kuya. Umiling lang si Ella at napabuntong hininga lang si kuya.

Napatingin ang lahat sa may pintuan nang may kumatok. May sumilip na isang lalaki at alam kong siya ang sekretarya ni papa.

"Boss, may gustong pumasok. Kasama daw po ni sir. Denny." Sabi niya at sinensyasan siya ni papa. May pumasok na pamilyar na lalaki sa loob ng room.

Ngayon ko lang napansin na ang sarap titigan ng mukha niya, may maamo siyang mukha, may magandang pangangatawan at malamig itong tumingin.

Lumapit siya kay kuya Denny at may binigay na flash drive. Niyakap naman ni Ella ang kakambal niya at nakita kong ngiting-ngiti siya.

"Don't smile at me like that. You're creeping me out, Ella." Malamig na saad ni Michael si Ella. Hindi naman siya pinansin nito.

"This is what we found out about the Carsons and that group stalking my lil sis from the shadows." Paninimula ni kuya at binuksan ang laptop niya.

Kinabit niya 'yung flash drive at may bumukas na files. Pinakita niya sa'min 'yung mga files at may nakita akong picture ng lalaki.

"I know that you already know him but there's someone here who didn't know him yet. He's Marcus Carsons - the boss of the Carsons group." Paliwanag niya.

"He's the one who killed mom. He killed mom because she doesn't want to go with him. He also wants to kill my sister to cut off the ties between my mom and father." - Kuya Denny.

"Cut off the ties?" Tanong naman ni Andrew. "Meaning, gusto niyang mawalan ng koneksyon si father mula kay mom." Paliwanag ni kuya.

"Tanggalan ng koneksyon? Kahit na gawin niya 'yun ay hindi na magiging sa kaniya si mama dahil patay na siya." Komento ko naman.

"He's very possessive even in death. He killed mom because he wants her to be his but still he can't." Seryosong saad niya.

"What a creep." Rinig kong bulong ni Haerii sa tabi ko at may tinetext siya. Si Saber naman ay nakatitig kay Haerii.

"He also wants to get everything away from you, father. That's why he made a false story about you to mom's family." Nakita kong napayukom ng kamao si papa.

"He told everyone in the family that you're the one who killed mom. That you're the one who planned all of it just to kill her." Nakita ko ang galit ni papa sa mukha niya.

"If you want to know if the Bucket family knows the truth now, the answer is yes. They regretted what they did before to you. They are planning on meeting you soon." Saad ni Michael.

"I already know that but, I don't care. I won't forgive them." Seryosong saad ni papa.

"And they don't have to do that. I know that they're just going to take my daughter away from me." Malamig na saad ulit ni papa.

"I really want to agree with you but no. They want to talk about things that happened before. They're not going to take your daughter away from you." Sagot ni Michael.

"Kuya, 'wag ka nang makipagsagutan sa kaniya. Labas tayo diyan." Rinig kong bulong ni Ella. Napatingin kay Ella 'yung lalaki at tumango.

"I'm so sorry about that, Mr. Valentine." Yumuko ng onti si Michael at nanahimik na.

"Carsons won't stop unless they already got what you all have, father." Pagpapatuloy ni kuya kanina sa sinasabi niya.

"And about the group what we call Serenade, I found that their leader is here right now." Nakangiting saad niya habang nakatingin kay Chase.

Nagtaka naman ako dahil do'n. Bakit siya ganiyan tumingin kay Chase?
