"I walk alone this quiet night with songs in my ears and a mess in my head.
Trying to forget all of the words you have said.
Becoming so sick with dread knowing:
You're on my mind
But I don't want you there.
You sure took your time,
Because what happened happened last year.
Why do my thoughts decide to taint me now?
Was I just coping with numbness until I found
The rope that I have cut perhaps I was wrong.
Because you're on my mind.
But I don't want you there
I use to love the thought of you,
All of the memories that we shared,
And when it came to an end and I wished you well,
I didn't expect you to block me on your cell.
I was able to push it all aside,
I refused to let guilt take its tide:
But now I can't help but to cry when I think of you by my side."
