KIM YUN-SEO'S POV오전 6시 29 분
An exhausting week had gone by and here I was, walking alone instead of being elsewhere. I stopped by at a fast food restaurant and bought myself a snack there. Sitting by the window, I watched as the people in the busy streets were all careless about each other, making their way to wherever they were going. I remembered something our philosophy professor told us about; each one had a destination but some of them find their way to each other — maybe after one or a number of heartbreaks.
Because of how pressured I am in terms of academics, I kind of hated how I constantly find meanings in almost every thing I lay eyes on. Even a single fly would make me remember the lessons about how they live or even how they breed. And it really is getting disturbing some times. Knowing too much; it really does drive you crazy.
I was scrolling through my phone with a sandwich getting murdered inside my mouth when I thought about the Park Jimin guy. I wondered how he actually was, aside from what people tell me about him. All I know is that his reactions are pretty funny and he's so nice to make fun of.
Since the way home passes by his studio, I thought going there simply just to annoy him. Does he have a girlfriend? Oh wait, that's me! Laughing at myself, I hurried my steps and stopped by a bakery to get a box of cupcakes. I don't know, I just felt like bringing these because why not? I'm his girlfriend after all! Jeez, I'm so delusional but he's too interesting to leave alone. Might as well have some fun myself.
The studio wasn't too far from where I was walking. It was pretty late but the moon had showed up only recently. Across me was Jimin, but what made me somewhat disturbed was the woman walking beside her. They seemed to be very close as they kept smiling and laughing together. I didn't even notice that I was already glaring at them, and just after a few more seconds, the two had already took notice of my stare.
I got into my senses, or not really, but either way I just did. A grin was on my face as I sprinted towards Jimin, him looking at me with a very confused expression. He always looked like that every single time I met him by coincidences, always unaware of whatever is going on.
"Jagiya!" I clung onto his arm. The short-haired girl beside him looked at me, also looking quite surprised though she didn't seem to mind. She looked at Jimin and said, "wow, you never told me you found a girl already!"
Jimin protested, taking off my arms from him. "I don't even know her name!" He looked pretty annoyed as I could tell by his expression. I mean, I would be annoyed too if someone lied about me having a boyfriend, but oh well. It's his fault for sleeping on my shoulder that day and making me so curious.
"I think I should get going now, I'll leave you guys some time together. Jimin oppa, see you soon~" She gave him a hug but he seemed to be lagging for a moment. He was still probably wondering how he got himself into this situation. "Y-yeah.. I'll see you soon. Call me when you need to." He patted her back before they parted. The girl smiled at me and took my hand, "take care of him, he's a bit dumb sometimes, especially when he's in love." She chuckled and then walked away.
I wasn't sure what she meant, but I felt strange for some reason. That's a bit pathetic, isn't it? He doesn't have to worry though, I'm surely the farthest from dumb. After everything that had just unfolded, he still stood there frozen. Maybe he just realized that he just lost the chance to explain to that girl that I really was some random stranger.
I held up the box of cupcakes and handed it to him. He could only look at me with a slightly agaped mouth. My gaze landed on his phone that he had been holding, so I grabbed it and forced his thumb to unlock it. "Yah, what do you think you're doing?" He tried to take it from me but I managed to inch away from him. I took out my phone and airdropped our photo to his phone. And what else is better than a couple having the same lockscreen? I just hope he doesn't delete it.
"What the.." Jimin stared at his phone's new lockscreen, and then at me with a she's-insane look. I gave him a big smile, "Way to ruin your day, jagi~ Bye bye!" I was about to walk away when I remembered what he said earlier. "Oh, and my name is Yunseo. Kim Yunseo, soon to be Park!" I shouted a meter away from him, giggling afterwards.
