KIM YUN-SEO'S POV

오후 1 24

It's been a day since I settled in my new apartment, Yeoji had been here once too. So, why not Jimin next? I'm kinda missing that guy too anyway, or to be specific — I miss annoying him. He's been nicer to me since then, but not too much. I still see the old arrogance he has. I called him to come over to my new home, and to my surprise it wasn't too hard to make him agree.

Soon enough, he arrived with some snacks that I definitely enjoyed. While we were watching a movie to kill time, I heard someone ring the doorbell. I quickly walked over to see who it was, panicking when I saw through the intercom that it was my mother's secretary. "Oh shoot! Uhh.."

"Why?" He asked, calm as ever. I uttered in a quieter voice, careful not to let her hear it. "Hurry up and hide!" Jimin gave me a questionable look and did not move a muscle at all. "It's not like we're doing anything bad?"

I pulled him up to stand and protested, "I'm a girl, you're a boy. We're alone here, what are you going to think if you were a middle-aged woman?"

"Uh, a friend visting his friend's house?" He raised an eyebrow, clearly unbothered. "Aish!" I dragged him and pushed him into my room, shutting the door and then running to open the front door.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

The secretary, in the name of Ms Lee, went on and on about her and her bad habits, making sure she was no longer in the 'wrong path' and also asking if she was doing well living alone. To Yunseo, she somehow sounded more like her mother than her own actual mother. Ms Lee was only a bit more of a mild-talker but still scary in ways. In fact, she was the one who told her parents about everything.

A thump was heard from Yunseo's room, alarming Ms Lee who stood up upon hearing it. She looked around roughly and asked, "Is anyone else in here?"

Panicking, Yunseo uttered an insanely strange choice of words. "Uh... A dog! I bought a dog." She forced a smile, and Ms Lee seemed a bit convinced, fortunately.

"Oh, really? What's your dog's name?" She asked, sitting back down. Yunseo, still freaking out inside, once again said just whatever she could think of. "J— Minji! Her name is Minji."

Meanwhile, in that room, Jimin searched up an audio of a dog barking — though he was quite offended that Yunseo technically turned him into a dog. Right then, an advertisement came up, and it was heard from outside too. Though Jimin tried to mute it as quick as possible, Ms Lee was once again, concerned upon hearing that.

"What's that? I heard something.." She scanned the room only with her eyes, which made Yunseo panic even more. She wondered what Jimin was even doing inside. "M-My dog... watches TV a lot.. it makes him calm."

"Aw, is that so? Where is your dog? Can I see it?" Ms Lee stood up and walked around, looking for a dog that she'll most likely never find. "Oh. My dog doesn't really like people. He gets super aggressive when he sees people." It was such a lame excuse but it did the job in the end. Finally after a while that felt so long, the secretary had left the apartment.

KIM YUN-SEO'S POV

"Yah, out of every excuse you could've made, a dog? Really?" Jimin argued, looking totally unhappy as he glared at me. "What do you want me to say then? I have a seal? A chicken inside my room? That's just what came out of my mouth..."

He laughed, "Really? Minji?" I don't even get why he's so upset about it, he almost got me caught earlier too! I still wonder if he did that on purpose. "Oh, and by the way. If you had this apartment, why didn't you go here when you ran away from home?"

"I didn't have the key. And they'd find me here if I stayed here. How about you?" I turned to him, "Why did you look for me instead of working?"

"And you even stayed with me for the entire day. Why are you doing all of this? To me?" I added, leaning closer as he scooted away. Smirking, I said something which was supposedly a tease. "Are you falling for me?"

He sighed, "here we go again." Jimin met my eyes, "I'm..." His eyes seemed to change expressing a dull frown after his word. "...Not."

PARK JI-MIN'S POV

My heart isn't supposed to be beating this fast after this girl asked me a question. I did wonder as well, maybe just as much as she did. Why was I doing this to her? What is this feeling?
