Nineteen | Chaos

It has been a few months from the time we told Taehyun I was pregnant. The fans had eventually come to terms that one of their idols was going to be a dad to his own child and not theirs.

Mark had worked hard to save up even more money for the time after giving birth so we had enough for maternity leave. He was also saving up for Taehyun and the baby's college funds.

Speaking of new things, Mark and I decided to make it official legally. We didn't hold a wedding ceremony just yet because it was a busy time, and I could go into labor at any moment.

Though, it wasn't traditional, Mark wanted to be married before the baby was born. We agreed on holding a wedding ceremony after the baby arrived and grew up a little bit.

All we did was sign the papers stating we wanted to get married and the courthouse legalized it. The guys were there for that and after that, Mark legally adopted Taehyun.

Mark was officially Taehyun's dad. His name was now on Taehyun's birth certificate for legal reasons and also had parental rights to him.

Mark's family still did not speak to him and it was a definite thing whenever they saw that Mark was having a child and got married.

The company made Mark publicize that he was a married man to my dismay. I didn't want our business being out there, but it was what it was.

The fans were not that surprised of a marriage news but some were hoping it would never come to that point because Mark would be officially not interested in fans romantically.

NCT as a whole did lose a lot of fans, but they gained newer ones as they promoted more and more. They also had more comebacks than usual.

"Mommy, the baby is kicking." Taehyun said as he slowed his speech to pronounce the words correctly. He had his head carefully resting on my baby bump.

I was due any day now, and so, my bump was huge. Taehyun had gotten used to the fact that a baby would soon arrive. He often asked to listen to the baby and always touched the bump.

"I know. Is it cool?" I asked him as I ran my finger through his hair. With months being had gone by, Taehyun had just turned three a few weeks ago. It felt like just yesterday that he had turned two, but with me being a little over nine months pregnant, Taehyun had grown too.

"It's cool, mommy. The baby go kick kick when I lay down on mommy belly." He said before sitting up.

"When is the baby coming, mommy?" He asked me.

I shrugged. "I don't know, baby. It's a surprise. The baby comes when the baby wants to." I said to him.

"When do you want to have the wedding ceremony again? I have to make sure my schedule is clear for it and I don't have to work during that time." Mark asked as he scrolled through his laptop.
