Seventeen | Confession
"Mark, did you see what Arin and her company posted? She's pressing charges against me." I said as I showed him the announcement.
"Blah blah blah, Arin feels as she was wrongfully denied of a collaboration in the works with Mark Lee from SM Entertainment. Arin states that she was treated rudely by a janitorial staff and insulted during her time there. She will press charges and go to court with said staff member." Mark read the post out loud.
"She doesn't know that we have video evidence. She's trying to gain sympathy from fans so they can bribe the judge into saying you're guilty." Mark sighed before dialing a number.
"Jaehyun, we're going to need that lawyer again. Arin is causing a mess. You can search it online to see it yourself." Mark said.
Jaehyun said something before Mark hung up. "I think we need to tell SM." Mark said.
"I'll tell them she's pressing charges on me but it's false. The video has HD quality and sound to hear what she said to me." I said.
I called my boss and informed her of the situation. "So do you want us to release the video?" My boss said.
"Not yet. I want to surprise her at the court hearing. The fans seem to be on her side because she's their idol. They'll believe anything she says. I want the video to be released after she is found a liar." I said.
"I will press charges on her after that for defamation and harassment." I said.
"Okay. Well, text me when you finish the court and have a verdict." She said before we said goodbye.
The lawyer that helped us with the Yun Jae arrived at our house this time instead of the dorm.
I showed him the video and he nodded. "I don't need any time to practice. I know exactly what to do." He said.
"Good thing because it's today. I think she purposely made it as soon as possible so we couldn't get a lawyer or a proper defense." Mark said.
He had blocked Arin on his phone and this was a result of it. Her going crazy and going after me instead.
"Just wait until she sees Mark on my side." I said before seeing Taehyun near the wall.
His little finger was slowly going towards the outlet in curiosity which made me scared. "Taehyun, no!" I gasped sternly.
Taehyun was visibly caught off guard by my scolding as his shoulders scrunched up out of being startled and fear. He immediately yanked his hand away from the plug outlet before turning to look at me. He clearly wasn't aware that I had been watching him.
