Five | Law
"Have you heard Mark Lee is apparently dating that Arin girl from when he was in high school?" I heard a fan say in the cafe.
It was early morning, and I had brought Taehyun to eat breakfast here. I was waiting for the people to finish making my food as I held Taehyun.
Taehyun was usually more clingy to me in the morning time and wanted to be held a lot after waking up.
"She's a idol too, no?" The other girl said who was with the first fan. They were eating at the booth near the waiting area I was at.
"Yeah, she is but I haven't heard of her group's songs. I don't think she's that popular but she did attend high school with Mark and Mina." The fan said.
"I hate when idols date." The other girl said. "I feel like fans make the famous so they should sacrifice dating because we made them who they are."
"Right? Without fans, the idol wouldn't even know who the other person is. They wouldn't date in the first place." The fan said.
"Here you go." The girl at the cafe said when my food was ready. I grabbed the paper bad and carried Taehyun to an empty table.
"Let's eat breakfast." I said to Taehyun as I placed him in his own chair. I laid out a napkin on the table to cover it.
I gave Taehyun the croissant with melted cheese and ham inside of it because that's what he liked. I had the same but with sausage instead.
"Wow, if you type in Mark Lee and Arin, some fan made a video that composes moments of them together. Romantically or not." The fan said while on her phone. She shook her head before placing it down on the table to show the girl.
They watched the video as they ate before cursing underneath their breath. "Fucking hate it."
I distracted Taehyun from their foul language and put on cartoons on my phone. He watched while he ate.
"There's even some for Mark and Mina. There are way more for them, but it makes me wonder if anything really is going on between them too." The other girl said.
"I'd not support Mark or any of my biases if they started dating another idol." The fan said.
"Same. I'd go insane thinking about how they might be kissing or having sex without any fan knowing." The other girl said.
"Shit, if they have sex..." The fan shook her head, lividly.
The other girl sighed before cleaning up their food. "Are you done? Let's go to the fan shop. I need to buy more albums." She said.
