Y/N sat in front of a woman who had a mix of paints in front of her. She looked at his face as she gripped his jaw moving it in all directions as she hummed to herself. She picked out various colors as she started to paint lines on his face. He was to take the final challenge that night. Y/N had been approached by Mouse who proposed that he would be the new high chief of the tribe.
~Flashback~
"You want me to be what now?" Y/N asked as Mouse walked with him along the main courtyard. Mouse smiled as he was greeted by people who were working hard to keep building on schedule.
"I want you to be the next High Chief. It's as I said before. My dear friend I grow old. I may not look it because of my semblance but I have outlived my stay on this island. It's only a matter of time. And I wanted to choose my successor before I departed." He said as Y/N walked by his side confused yet slowly starting to understand the weight of the situation.
"But why me? Why give that honor to an outsider?" Y/N asked as Mouse simply smiled.
"Because I can see in your heart how much you love this place. You're strong, brave, smart. And you have something most of the people here do not. You have Heart. You can feel for these people and train them to be better. You can make these people immortal legends." Mouse said as he looked out into the ocean. The wind blowing through his white hair.
"You are almost ready too. Just a few tests to really push you and show everyone what I can see deep inside you. So, are you ready to get started?" He asked as Y/N stood behind him and looked out seeing the Megs swimming around with their riders. He smiled.
"Born ready."
~Flashback end~
Y/N slowly emerged from the hut as everyone looked to him. He was nervous for his last challenge as it was said to be his toughest. Mouse walked up to him.
"You look just like me when they made me chief." He said chuckling as Y/N smiled. Mouse looked him in the eyes.
"You are ready, I believe you will make us proud." He said as Y/N nodded. Mouse gave one last smiled as they walked towards a caged arena. Y/N noticed the cages rattle in the arena as Mouse led him in.
"Your final task is to tame every creature here. However they will all be unchained and gunning to kill you so I recommend you act fast." Mouse said as he walked back to the entrance and walked out the gate closing behind him locking him out. Y/N looked at the cages as he breathed in a deep breath.
One by one the creatures busted from their cages revealing creatures he had never seen before.
