{Olivia}

When I walk through the hallways of the hospital again, I feel nervous. I feel like something is going to happen, something bad. When I reach Liam's room the door is slightly opened and I hear two voices.

'I can't tell her,' I hear Liam say. 'She will be devastated.' I frown as I get a little bit closer so I can hear them more clearly.

'You need to tell her Liam,' Amy says. 'Or else I will.' What are they talking about?

'She won't forgive me,' Liam mumbles. 'You know that. You know how much she despises cheating.' My heart stops beating for a moment. Liam cheated on me?

'Yeah, but you have to tell her,' Amy says. 'You can't keep this, us, whatever we are, a secret from her forever.' I decide to walk in to confront them.

'You... You cheated on me?' I stammer, looking directly at Liam.

'Fuck,' Liam murmurs.

'I'll leave you alone,' Amy mumbles and she quickly walks away. She probably wants to get out of here before things get bad, really bad.

'Olivia, let me explain,' Liam begs me.

'When?' I ask him, my voice shaking. I'm about to break down, but I won't, not now. Not in front of him.

'Four months ago,' Liam mumbles. 'It was just a one time thing, I swear.' I shake my head as I feel my heart break, piece by piece.

'Why?' I whisper.

'Baby, sit down please,' Liam says, panic is seen in his blue eyes.

'Don't call me baby!' I hiss and he nods. 'Why did you do it? Was I not good enough for you? Was our relationship not good enough?'

'You were good enough,' Liam says. 'Fuck, you are good enough. Olivia, you mean everything to me.' I shake my head and wrap my arms around my body as a form of protection.

'I'm not,' I mumble. 'Or else you wouldn't have cheated on me. You wouldn't have gotten involved with me if you weren't trying to get over Amy.' Liam gives me a confused look.

'Amy told me you had feelings for her before we started dating,' I clarify. Liam bites his lip and lowers his gaze. So it is true.

'How could you?' I ask him. 'I really was a distraction to you.'

'No, ba- Olivia, you're not,' Liam quickly says, his eyes meeting mine again. 'God, you're not a distraction to me. I mean, maybe you were at the beginning. But then I fell in love with you and I love you so much Olivia, so so much.'

'I don't believe you,' I say, shaking my head. 'Why would you fuck her if you were happy with me?'

'I don't know!' Liam sighs. He's starting to sound desperate now. 'I... It just happened.'

'How could you act like nothing happened for all those months?' I ask him, feeling the tears burn behind my eyes now. 'How could you look me in the eyes, telling me you love me after you fucked some other girl? How could you give me all those promises about our future together? All our moments, all the promises, they're all lies! You lied to me all along!' Liam wants to get up, but the wires in his arms hold him back.

'And you said I was overreacting when I was worried about Amy,' I mumble. 'I was right, and you refused to stop hanging out with her? Why? So you could screw her again?' I feel so stupid for not recognizing the signs. I should've known.

'No, fuck no,' Liam says. 'Olivia, I'm so sorry about what happened.'

'You like her,' I mumble, wiping the tears that escaped from my eyes from my cheek.
