'I Love you. Always'

"It's okay, Amber. I'm here" Zayn said, trying to calm me.

Tumingin ako sa unahan namin. Nilukuban ako ng matinding takot. The rain won't stop from falling. Even when we're too far, some drops can still touch my leather boots. I can also feel the cold breeze caused by the rain. A memory flashed on my mind. Mariin akong umiling at pilit inalis iyon sa isip ko.

"I can't do this, Zayn. You know that i'm afraid of it! Why are you forcing me to go there?" May halong inis na tanong ko sa kaniya.

I am mesmerized by the way he smile.

"You don't have to be afraid, Amber. I'm here, remember? Hindi ko hahayaang may mangyaring masama sa 'yo" mahinanong turan niya habang nakatingin sa mga mata ko.

"I-t's not that simple---"  ikinulong niya ang mukha ko gamit ang dalawa niyang kamay at itinuon ang buong atensiyon ko sa kaniya.

"I know. I know. I'm not taking this easily. I know that you feared rain but you need to get through this. You need to go somewhere, right?"

I nodded multiple times without thinking about it. I looked at the rain, again. Ilang butil ng luha ang tumulo mula sa mga mata ko bago ulit tumingin sa kaniya. Tumingin ako diretso sa mga mata niya.

"Zayn... I'm scared" nginig ang boses na sabi ko.

"Hush. I'm here, okay? Don't be scared. Seriously, rain isn't really scary. It won't hurt you" nagawa ko paring iikot ang mga mata ko sa kabila ng takot na nararamdaman ko.

I know, okay? I'm not totally afraid of the rain, I am afraid of the memory it created.

"You only says that because you love the rain" I heard him chuckled. Muli akong napatingin sa maamo niyang mukha. I can see happiness on his eyes.

"Who wouldn't love it? Rain brings calmness and joy to those who feel sorrow. Everyone enjoy the feeling of being touched by it" he says happily.

"Iyan ba ang mararamdaman mo sa tuwing nakikita at naliligo ka sa ulan?" Bahagya akong guminhawa sa sinabi niya.

Knowing that he loves the rain, nabawasan ang takot na mararamdaman ko. He always makes me feel this without even realizing.

"Yes" mabilis na sagot niya.

"So you have nothing to worry, as long as you're with me" he continued. Slowly guiding me through the rain.

At first, I hesitated to go with him. But because of the smile he's giving me, I go with him slowly.

Ipinikit ko ng mariin ang mga mata ko habang dahan dahang umaalis sa sinisilungan namin.

As fast as rain touches my skin, Zayn pulled me closer and hugged me.

Ang takot na biglaang naramdaman ko ay mabilis ring naglaho sa init ng yakap niya. I stayed there for a moment, feeling his warm hug. Isinandal ko ang ulo ko sa kaniyang balikat atsaka pumikit.

"Are you okay?" Mahinang bulong niya sa bandang taenga ko. Marahan akong tumango.

"Now. Walk" utos niya. I looked at him, trying to say something. He smile again.
