"Are you sure you don't really know who gave you that ugly flowers?" He asked again! Are the flowers really bothers him or does he really find those ugly? Pero I swear maganda ang arrangement ng flowers!
"I told you I don't know," Sabi ko at nagpunas ng bibig. I have one person in my mind but I don't want to think it's him because I can't offer him anything more than friendship.
Nagbayad na ng bill ng order namin si Trevor. I insist to pay the half but he rejected.
"I'll pay the half.." I have my own money to support myself though I know barya lang to sa kaniya but still.
"No." Madiing sabi niya at tumitig sa akin.
"Okay.. I'll pay the tip, then." Sabi ko at naglagay na ng one hundred. Wala siyang nagawa kundi ang magbuntong hininga at umiling.
"Thanks for the dinner," I said nang pabalik na kami sa parking to get in his car.
"No problem. I'll wait for you again tomorrow so don't bring a car." He said. Nagulat ako bukas ulit?
"What?" Napahinto ako sa paglalakad lumingon naman siya sa akin and he smiled.
"Tomorrow. Dinner." He said. I was about to say yes but I remembered I already said yes to Mike so..
"I can't tomorrow.. Sorry. How about the next day?" I said. Kumunot ang noo niya.
"Why?"
"I already have plans for tomorrow.." Lalong kumunot ang noo niya but after seconds he nodded.
"Okay.. Next day, then." He said at naglakad na kami papunta ng kotse niya. He opened the door for me.
"Thanks.." We got back to the company basement.
"Wait me here," Sabi niya tumango naman ako at tumungo siya papuntang elevator. Habang naghihintay sa kaniya ay pumunta muna ako sa guard upang subukan kunin ang susi ko pero may hinala na ako na may iba nang nagmaneho non patungo sa amin.
"Ma'am kinuha ko napo nung driver ni Sir Javier." Tama nga ako nauna pang nakauwi ang kotse ko. Hindi kaya magtaka sina Auntie?
"Let's go." Narinig ko ang boses ni Trevor sumakay na ulit ako sa kotse niya.
"Why are you there?" He asked.
"I was just asking if my car keys are still with him." Sabi ko at sinuot ang seatbelt.
"Okay.. Your car is in your house already. May kinuha lang ako sa office." Sabi niya at nagsimula na siyang magmaneho pauwi sa amin.
Ilang minuto lang ay nakauwi na ako. Parang masyadong mabilis ang oras ngayon! Tinanggal ko ang seatbelt ko at lumingon sa bintana Nakita ko ang kotse kong maayos na nakapark sa loob mismo ng gate. Lumingon ako kay Trevor at nakitang nakatingin din siya sa akin.
My face heated because of the way he looks at me! I saw him licked his lips and now he's looking at my lips too!
"Thank you, Trevor.." Puno nang sinseridad kong sinabi habang nakatitig sa kaniya. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko bakit parang masyado akong pabebe sa pagkakasabi ko? Kahit siya ay nagulat sa tono ng boses ko! I was so conscious the way he look at my lips that's why it came out that way!
"I didn't know you have that sweet voice, Amore.." He chuckled. Lalong namula ang pisngi ko ramdam ko na ang init nito!
"Stop.. I'm embarrassed. It came out unexpectedly!" I defensively said. Agad kong binuksan ang pinto ng kotse I can hear him chuckled once again. Bumaba din siya sa kotse
