Jack Landors didn't think he'd be back in SPD's base again. As much as he felt nostalgic, he also felt a bit worried. His adopted 'nephew' was now revealed to SPD as the vigilante, The Lone Ranger, and he fully expected Cruger to order Luke be taken to that holding cell that had once held him and Z when they had gotten arrested by SPD for being street thieves, but instead, Cruger had taken both his rangers and Luke and himself to the SPD command room.

"Luke Scott, welcome to Space Patrol Delta. Despite the law not allowing for vigilantes... we here at SPD have been letting you slide as you were a great help bringing in the Troobian Remnant. It is because of your work as a Power Ranger, that I ask you questions here and not in a holding cell." Cruger explained. Luke nodded.

"Thank you for your kindness, Commander Cruger." Luke replied.

"First question: Why do you do what you do? Why do you morph into a Power Ranger and stop crime every day?" Cruger asked.

"At first, it was simply a means to an end. I just wanted to know where my uncle Jason was and I thought the Troobian Remant would know. But then I realized that because of me... people in the streets didn't show fear walking around the city anymore. People felt safer and that's when I realized that being a Power Ranger was about giving them hope. I thought it too late to apply for SPD training, so I opted to continue on my own... as I felt I could make a difference and find my uncle." Luke explained.

"Still, being a vigilante is against the law. You should be serving time in prison... you should have left it to us to find Jason Lee Scott!" Chris said.

"When did SPD have the time to do that? The Troobian Remant had just recently been completely defeated! I spent 2 years of my life looking while SPD simply did not have the time since they had other things to worry about!" Luke pointed out.

"Chris... were you granted permission to speak?" Cruger asked.

"No, Commander." Chris replied.

"Then don't. Right now is not the time to hammer your feelings about the breach of rules at the moment." Cruger stated, before turning his attention back to Luke.

"Second question: What do you know of the disappearance of Jason Lee Scott? And Third: How can you use his dead Power Coin?" Cruger asked.

"All I know is that one day, Uncle Jason disappeared. I had assumed it had something to do with the Troobian Remnant. As for how to use the Power Coin... I don't know how to explain it... but when I touch it... I feel like I become some sort of battery charger and the power coin is the battery." Luke replied. Cruger saw no sign of dishonesty from the boy, as Luke had been completely truthful.

"What's going to happen to Luke?" Jack asked.

"That man you were fighting today seemed like he had something to do with the disappearances of many former Power Rangers, including possibily Jason Lee Scott and Kimberly Ann Hart. I feel like you have a better chance of finding Jason with us than by yourself... I'm offering you a chance to join SPD." Cruger told Luke. Jack saw it coming... and he nodded.

"I accept. Not just because of Uncle Jason... but also because I would like the chance to make a difference legally." Luke replied.

"Good. I'm assigning you to B Squad." Cruger told Luke.

"Commander, he hasn't trained alongside us... how could he possibly be ready to join B Squad?" Chris asked.

"It had been Luke who came up with the plan that helped us save the shelter... and he's been a Power Ranger for 2 years now." Sabrina pointed out. Chris sighed and gave Luke his morpher.
