As The Lone Ranger, Luke revives the dead Power Coin of Jason Lee Scott and takes up the form of the Red Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger... a form once used by his uncle Jason Lee Scott, the original leader of the first team of Power Rangers... this form was also used by Rocky DeSantos after Jason left the team. Due to fighting as The Lone Ranger for 2 years, Luke is very familiar with this form. Despite not having containment technology, he proved to be a great Ranger against the Troobian Remnant.... and has a strong connection with the Morphing Grid... Prehaps he is the chosen one that Zordon searched for long ago....

Upon joining SPD, Luke has taken the mantle of SPD's Red Ranger, a position previously held by Luke's adoptive uncle Jack Landors, as well as Sky Tate. He now leads the new B Squad. While not as used to the new technology and form... he is quickly adjusting and is rapidly becoming an invaluable Ranger. Thanks to Kat Manx's latest modifications to B Squad's Ranger gear, Luke and the other Rangers can now use their civilian powers in their morphed states.
