Power Rangers SPD: The New Generation

Chapter 7: The dimensional device part 2

Luke's earlier sense of dread had still not died down despite Selena being safe and the mysterious female thief, attempting to steal the power source to a previously stolen dimensional portal opener, being taken into SPD custody. He briefly wondered if it had to do with that guy who had been speaking into his head... challenging him to remember events in the past that Luke still could not recall now. Like who that woman who had morphed into the Yellow Dino Thunder during his Lone Ranger days. All he knew is that it wasn't Kira Ford, the original Yellow Ranger of the Dino Thunder team.

"Something on your mind?" Asked the voice of the ever observant Anubis "Doggie" Cruger.

"Yeah. I got a bad feeling that this situation was resolved way too quickly. I don't think this whole dimensional portal opener conflict is over." Luke replied, not sure if he should tell Doggie about the mysterious voice speaking into his head just yet. After all, he certainly didn't want to appear crazy and end up in some kind of mental asylum. Doggie nodded.

"I don't think it's over either. Be on your guard, Luke. If this Kaizo is anything like Gruumm was, he may have a clever strategy to take us out while our guard is down. One thing about being a Power Ranger is that you can never afford to underestimate the enemy." Doggie replied before he began to head to the interrogation room. Luke sighed before he walked out of the Command Center and headed to the SPD cafeteria. He needed to get some water to drink. As Luke made his way to the cafeteria, a voice was heard behind him.

"I'm used to being the only one able to feel it... the almost panic like state of the planet being in danger." The voice of Selena said as Luke turned around to find Selena there, looking a Luke with a concerned look on her face.

"You mean you feel like this all the time?" Luke asked in shock. Much to Luke's relief, Selena shook her head.

"Not all the time. But there were moments in the past when this feeling of dread came to me... especially when the Troobians attacked." Selena explained. Luke pondered this for a moment. She called this feeling the ability to feel the panic like state of the planet being in danger. How would she feel such a thing? How was he able to feel it now when he had never been able to in his life before hand?

Meanwhile:
Luis was in the interrogation room with Keisi. In his hands Luis had a file in his hand. A file of all of the crimes Keisi had ever committed at various points of the galaxy before she had come to Earth.

"Señorita Keisi, tú eres una persona muy mala." Luis started off.

"I have no idea what the heck you just said." Keisi replied as she glared at Luis.

"I just stated the obvious in Spanish. You are a very bad person. You are a professional thief who has been hired by many evil people to get priceless or sometimes dangerous artifacts. You even worked with Gruumm." Luis explained. Keisi has a sadistic smile on her face.

"Ah yes. I was payed to modify the A Squad Megazord into something more... fitting for servants of the Troobian Empire." Keisi replied, clearly proud of the work she did on the Zord.

"It still was destroyed by SPD... so it's not like your work was all that impressive." Luis pointed out before he grabbed the schematics of both the dimensional portal device and it's power source.

"Why does Kaizo and his War Hawk faction want this device... other than the obvious opportunity for dimensional travel?" Luis asked. Keisi rolled her eyes.

"Like you could get me to talk, Ranger." Keisi shot at Luis before Cruger walked into the room.

"I'm sure I can though." Cruger told Keisi with a challenging glare on his face.
