Chapter6

Jakes POV:
Lucy stormed out of Dairy Queen after seeing tyler and that girl together. I went and chased her to see if she was okay. I finally found her in my car crying, I sat in the drivers seat next to her and drove her to her house. The car ride was pretty silent, I don't blame her her boyfriend was caught cheating again! I never liked him I even told her, but I'm not going to bring that up because of how bad she is feeling right now. We got to her house I parked in the empty driveway and walked her to her door.
"Thanks for driving me home" she said breaking the silents.
"Don't worry about it, but honestly he is crazy for cheating on you and you know it" I say she gives me a look.
"Come stay the night please. I really don't wanna be home alone." She said
"Isn't your dad home from his trip yet? I ask
"No next week he comes back and my brother is sleeping over at his girlfriends house" she responds pulling me into her house. Her sleeves were wet from her tears. She turned on the lights and walks up to her room, I follow her up the stairs. We get to her room as we walk into her room she turns the lights on and look in the mirror.
"Ugh crap" she says

Lucy's POV:
"What's wrong?" Jake asked. everything was wrong my boyfriend cheated on me, I look like a disaster and i feel like shit.
"Nothing just my face looks like a disaster" I say
"No it doesn't it looks perfect" he responded
After i change into my pjs I put my hair up in a messy bun and got some of my brothers pjs for Jake. After he changed into my brothers clothes he went down stairs and I stayed upstairs to clean because it was a mess. When I got downstairs I saw that my living room couch was turned int a fort. The pillows were the walks and roof with Jake inside watching Netflix with a blanket over his legs. He notices me standing there, he gives me a wink than tells me to sit with him. I laugh and join him. We were watching dexter, we weren't really watching it because I really just want to talk to him.
"Am I that worthless" I whisper not realizing I said that out loud
"No you are not worthless, you are the most extraordinary person ever! He is crazy for cheating on you" he says pulling me into a hug. But it wasn't just a hug, it felt like every thing stopped the tears stopped streaming down my face and I forgot about the fact tyler cheated on m, heck I forgot about tyler.
I feel asleep while we were hugging, so did he. I woke up and looked at my phone to see the time. It was 3:00 am I noticed Jake was still sleeping. I didn't want to wake him but I was hungry. I got out of the hug and walked to the kitchen. I grabbed a bag of Cheetos and a bottle of water walked back to the Fort Jake made and grabbed the laptop off of his abs which he definitely had. I think he started working out but whatever. I put on the notebook and started eating my Cheetos. I felt Jake move I turned my head over with tears in my eyes as I see him looking at me laughing. I playfully hit him and start laughing.
"Your such a suck" he says still laughing.
"It's not my fault that the notebook is so sad" I say as he laughs
"What time is it?"'he asked, I look at the clock
"4:30" I say as Jake pulls me into his arms and falls asleep I do the same.

(Next day)
Lucy's POV:
I wake up and notice Jake isn't laying down next to me so I go up stairs and get changed into my bathing suit put shorts and a tank top over it than put my hair up in a bun. I walked down stairs and went outside to see Jake coming out of the pool. He looked so hot in his swimming suit
"Like the view" he asks catching me staring
"Nice abs" I say laughing
"Come here" he says I run over to him, he gives me a hug and throws me into the pool.
When I got to the surface i saw him laughing at me.
"That wasn't funny!" I say angrily, walking out of the pool with my drenched clothes on and grab my towel.
"Be a man" he says as he tickles me. I couldn't help but laugh and smile as he tickles me, I start hitting his arm. He somehow ended up on top of me on my lawn chair. Our faces were centimetres away, we moved our faces together but we quickly moved back when we hear my brother Jayson, his friends, and Anthony walked in come to the back yard. My brother and jayson are really close.
"We're we interrupting anything?" Anthony says sounding pissed off.
"Actually yeah you were" I say upset. I can see Jake smirking from the corner of my eye.
"Hey I'm jayson, Lucy's older brother" Jayson says to Jake.
"Hey I'm Jake, Lucy's best friend" Jake says to Jayson.
Jayson looks at me with a smile on his face.
"Good choice Lucy" Jayson says to me, I couldn't help but smile.
"Anthony, Jake! Wanna go to a collage party?" Jayson asks the guys
"Can shawn go?" Anthony asks
"Yeah sure, how about you Jake"
"Um.." Jake looks at me questionably.
"Alex and I are coming if you guys are going!" I say as I start texting alex telling her we were going to a party at 10.
"Hell no! The guys are pervs at my school!" Jayson says. I know he has a thing for Alex, he just won't admit it.
"To bad!" I say sticking my tongue out at all the guys
"Fine, you can come. Jake watch her at the party" he says. I wink and Jake
"That won't be a problem" I say we both laugh.
