This year you get just as little info about (Y/N)'s parents as First Year did. Sorry, lol. But I promise, the most info you'll get is in Third Year and Seventh Year! Both being quite a while away.
As for Harry and (Y/N)'s relationship, they're still quite platonic here. They're twelve in the chapter onwards so obviously, I'm not going to get them together just yet.
Unlike other authors, ofc I don't mean to be cruel or unkind to anyone, I don't believe thay people can find that they love LOVE someone when they're twelve.
Sure, they may have teeny, tiny crushes on them, but it's probably till they're about fifteen they develop an "I want us to be together" feeling and then further onwards, more obstacles faced, and then they'll go to an "I love you" stage.
Another thing I'd like to add. I've just realised (well I knew but I forgot to adress this) that I have readers from different countries. I am British, from the UK, England so some words and letters would be spelt differently than say, idk Americans.
For example, I would write "mum" whereas they'd write "mom".
Psst, in reality, this is a British book, so all fanfics have to have "mum" and not "mom" but it's just an example.
Another example, for instance words like "realise", I would write with an "s" but Americans would write with a "z".
Just thought I'd let you know before I have people 'correcting' me when really, I'm right.
Now, this is very important cause I don't want my story getting accused for "cOpYrIgHT" when it's not.
I have changed some of the plot, number 1. This is a FANFICTION so I don't own the series, number 2. I don't own anything but the little bits of change in the plot, and ofc I don't own you. But I own the actions made by the character of which is supposedly played by the reader, (Y/N) but that doesn't mean I OWN YOU, number 3. That's all. All credits to Jk rowling and Warner Bros because they were in the making of Harry Potter film series and the book series.
