"Hurry up," I groaned at Sokka as he slowly gatherers all the supplies they needed for fishing. I have been living in the village since I was 2 and grew up with the siblings. Being the same age as Katara, we are really close.

"Sokka you're taking forever," Katara rolled her eyes at her brother. The three were the only teenagers of the village so they shared most of the weight of their chores. Though admittedly Katara does most of the work. Sokka likes to 'train' the toddlers of the village. I like to practice my bending by the penguins. Eventually Sokka got everything and we were off.

"It's not getting away from me this time. Watch an learn ladies, this is how you catch a fish." I rolled my eyes at his arrogance while Katara stared at the water until she saw a fish and got an idea. Her arms began to move in a graceful motion as she used her bending to lift the fish out of the water.

"Sokka! Look!" She said.

"Shhh Katara you're gonna scare it away. Mmmm I can already smell it cookin :P"

"But Sokka I caught one!" I narrowed my eyes at Sokka as he continued to ignore Katara who had moved the water over his head.

"Are you even gonna look?" I said, annoyed.

He pulled back his spear and ended up popping the bubble of water that held the fish. I leaped over and caused the boat to rock a little but I managed to catch it. "Got it!" I looked back to see Sokka drenched in water and giggled.

"Why is it that every time you play with magic water I get soaked?"

"Well you kinda deserved it." I muttered under my breath. Sokka glared at me and opened his mouth for a remark before Katara spoke again.

"Ugh it's not magic it's water bending and it's" Sokka cut her off.

"Yeah yeah it's an ancient art unique to our culture blah blah blah." Sokka turned back to the front of the boat.

"Uh guys?" At this point you noticed a strong current in front of you but the siblings continued to bicker.

"I'm just saying, if I had weird powers, I'd keep my weirdness to myself."

"Guys." I say a little louder, starting to get nervous.

"You're calling me weird? I'm not the one who makes muscles at myself every time I see my reflection in the water."

"GUYS."

"WHAT?" They shout in unison. As if on cue we hit a small chunk of ice and got sucked into the current. Sokka attempted to steer as ice crashed around us. Two chunks of ice were closing in front of us and I yelled,

"Sokka! Watch out!"

"Left! Go left!" Katara called out to him. Sokka attempted to steer but the current was too strong and the boat was crushed. We were thrown out of the boat and landed on one of the many ice pieces floating around. Katara scrambled away from the edge.

"You call that left?"

"You don't like my steering well maybe you should have water bended us out of the ice."

"Honestly. Both of you should've payed more attention when I was literally trying to WARN you about it." I said rolling my eyes.

Sokka glared at us. "I knew I should've left you two home. Leave it to the ladies to screw things up."

I scowled are him. "You know DAMN well I did nothing wrong." I let it go after that but Katara was PISSED.

"You are the most sexist, immature, nut-brained, ugh, I'm embarrassed I be related to you!" Sokka was sitting there, unamused until he noticed the huge iceberg behind her split. We looked at each other in fear before looking back at the iceberg.
