❛CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT
the house of black❜

PERCY QUICKLY stepped into Grimmauld Place, Wade following close behind as they set their coats on the coat rack. Percy shook the snow that had stuck to his hair off, dusting some off of Wade as they walked further into the home. Molly was the first to greet the two boys.

"Percy, dear. Its so good to see you." Molly greeted, wrapping the boy up in a quick hug before turning to Wade.

"Its lovely to see you as well, Molly." Percy said, pulling away from the woman. "This is my little brother, Wade. He was wondering if its all right he spent Christmas with us."

"Of course, all is welcome to join." Molly beamed, pulling Wade into a hug. "Its great to finally meet you, Wade."

"Pleasure's all mine, ma'am." Wade said politely, earning a smile from the redhead.

"Come on in, we were just starting." Molly said once again, ushering the two boys into the dining room where everyone else was.

"Arthur, how are you doing?" Percy asked, seeing the older man all bandaged up.

"I'm doing great, Percy." Arthur answered, giving the boy the best smile he could muster.

Percy smiles and nods, before taking a seat next to Hermione. The female had immediately grabbed his hand from under the table, giving the male a quick peck on the cheek before it was time to open presens.

A SMALL sigh escaped from Percy, setting his present down - which was a knitted sweater from Molly - before standing up and walking towards Sirius who stood in the doorway, passing by Harry who was opening his own present.

"Are you alright?" Sirius asked his son, noticing the way he smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes.

Percy quickly nodded his head. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Why do you ask?"
