❛CHAPTER ONE
train of horror❜

˙·✧──·✦·──✧·˙

PERCY was sitting up against the window on the Hogwarts Express, his hood pulled up over his head as he rested his head against the glass, eyes closed as he was drifting in and out of sleep. He was completely exhausted, as the night prior was a full moon, and his bones were still aching from then. Considering the ride to Hogwarts was going to be long, he decided it was a good time than any to try and get some sleep.

Though wasn't going to happen as he heard the compartment door slide open and someone walked in.

"Time to wake up you arse!" The voice of Kai Daylight bellowed, slapping his friends arm. Percy growled lightly at him, making the male scoff as he sat down diagonally from him. "What the fuck! Don't growl at me you bloody dog!"

"Kai, now is not the time to be calling Percy names." Emi Rose slightly scolded, sitting besides him. "It's the day after a full moon remember. Percy needs his sleep, he's been up all night."

"Dosen't mean he can growl at me..." Kai muttered under his breath, pouting as he wrapped his arms around himself.

"Thank you Em." Percy thanked, smiling at the brunette as she smiled back. He was glad that he had told his friends what he is, it seemed to take a huge weight off himself.

Percy ended sitting up straighter so he could face his friends. Kai sat closest to the compartment door, while Emi sat down next to him and across from the werewolf. The space besides Percy was taken by his other good friend, Miya Shaw- the one he'd say he's closest to. She blew a piece of stray red hair from her face as she smiled at the male, which he gratefully repaid with his own. Since Percy had met her, Miya had always been a mute, never saying a single word unless she was signing, (doing sign language).

Emi had known her the longest- since they were really young-, and the brunette explained that Miya was born a mute, she was born unable to talk. Percy didn't know the reason why she couldn't- actually he wasn't sure she knew herself- but whatever the reason it didn't change her being his friend.

"How was your summer, Percy?" Emi asked, catching the males attention again.

Percy shrugged, a clear sign that he didn't want to get into it exactly as he responded. "The same as any other."

There was no explanation for that statement, the three other teens knew the hidden message behind those words. Plus, those words explain the fresh cuts that were barely peeking out from the collar of his shirt and the sleeves. Miya placed a comforting hand on Percy's leg, squeezing slightly for comfort, which he looked at her and smiled in thanks. Emi just clenched her jaw to bite the words back that wanted to spill- it was no secret that she knew what Elijah did to him, and it made her hate the man even more, even if she never met him.
